Anchorage AK 1.0

This is excellent, I used to live near Anchorage and this seems very accurate, however, there are some rivers in the area, where is Ship Creek? Very good salmon fishing in Ship Creek. 8/10

The rivers were giving me a hard time as the elevation not quite as accurate as I'd like it to be. I had to sacrifice some things to have a workable map. If you get the map up and running and open a city you can see the river valleys and perhaps hand-pint them in with the editor.

hand-pint... lol, its 5pm, guess where my mind is.

oh yes! I grew up in anchorage and now it looks like ive got to postpone my current Hudsonton project to build my hometown. THANKS!

Great. I have been to Alaska for every summer for the last 5 years but we go just south of Anchorage to Kenai. Great Map.

There are no lakes, wheres lake hood? Campbell lake? Could you fit muldoon on this map? It would be cool if we could add the valley and watch all those poor commuters drive into town...haha

i can't believe that someone actually made a map of anchorage. i thought that i would look it up just for kicks and sure enough. great job, but i would like to see the lakes. don't you think that anchorage would look funny with tall apartment buildings though?

Currently living in Anchorage... this map is OK, but the USGS data for Anchorage has a funky height value that isn't to the normal scale for the rest of the USGS data - that's why the mountains seem so small and a lot of the rest of the details are really missing. Not bad at all, though...
