Florida Beach  1.0

About This File

This is a map made from USGS data of a random Florida beach, which I then cut and pasted a little bit to make it slightly more interesting. It's very flat, but the straight beach should be easy to cover with beaches for a nice beach resort town.

Yes, first create a new region, then exit SC4 and put the config file in the region folder (C:\...\MyDocuments\SimCity4\Regions\) then go back into SC4 and the new config should have changed the region's city setup. Now you can load the greyscale map.

Most excellant. Only question, how would I go about making a larger map if I wanted, such as a 1025 x 1025?

i redid the config.bmp file for this layout... that gives you 27 cities instead of a lousy 6.... 1 large, 18 medium & 8 small cities totaling 27 all together...

Personally I like the 6 large maps. Borders are a pain in the butt for me, and my computer can handle it, so I prefer as many large maps as possible.

I use to live along that area of Florida and I give you a 10 cause it reminds me so much of home! See where the island comes off the main land, that's Merritt Island and down south is Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach and Melbourne....:)great job.
