so happy to find this :) my home town too. id like the winter version though: 100% covered in white (except lake ontario)!! Alss, the left, or western, "estuay" is actually the Genesee River. It is the second largerst river that flowing north behind the Nile.

hey, cool! a rochester party here. My home town too, moved all over town... park av, lake av, Irondequoit, Brighton, Webster. Graduated from Brighton HS. Great springs & summers, COLD winters though.

Yeah... I'm from Rochester also...  I started working on a detailed map of the region (including the Fingerlakes, Bristol Mountain, Mendon Ponds Park, etc.... I even remembered to include the pier down at Charlotte Beach.  The map is still in early stages as I am trying to make the map as realistic and as much to scale as possible while also creating a config.bmp that will work well for areas like downtown along the Genesee, large cities for places like Henrietta, Webster/Ontario/Penfield areas... trying to get the layout as accurate as possible.  Of course I can use small cities for towns like East Rochester, Fairport (Village) and medium cities for towns like Gates, Spencerport, etc...

 

Oh well... hopefully one day my map will be good enough to upload here...
