In the land of leprechauns and fairies grow monstrous crystals which grant many a creature the magical energies needed to cast magic. These crystals were never meant to be used as a power source, but when scientists came upon these crystals they quickly thought to harness their energy.

 

The crystals themselves were brought in and hooked up to machines which drained their limitless supply of energy. To save taxpayers money, the scientists also brought with them some leprechauns to be used as labor.

(Continued from previous) OTOH, your costs are ridiculous. More power for less plop cost AND only slightly more monthly cost than the fossil fuel power plants, and it produces NO pollution? If the price of this property were balanced for game purposes, it'd be 2 thumbs all the way.
