Ankh-Morpork

Ladies and gentlemen, i give you The Great Wahoonie.

Ankh is comercial and posh, Morpork is industrial and poluted. The city is walled and sorrounded by faux cabbage fields. Recognizable boroughs are Nap Hill, Grand Trunk, Park Lane, The Docks, The Shades, Guild Houses, Small Gods, Palace grounds and Unreal Estate.

The roads are angular and symetric but still have the look of messy, radial and concetric streets, with random alleys, major lanes, and organic "squares" at big crossroads.

In-game rewards and oportunities are repurposed into city landmarks, and real-world landmarks are used to fill in the gaps. There's even a predatory shoping mall lurking on the edge of the map.

The tax rate is zero. Income from oportunities and legalized gambling only. Coal power plants simulate household coal use. Waste is managed by Harry King. Polution is hazardous and traffic is a nightmare. Life expectancy and education levels are abysmal. Amenities exist only around park lane. Police is defunded and firefighters don't exit. The city is a tinder box heading for garbage fire.

Vetinari Simulator

Congratulations on attaining the patricianship of the twin city of Ankh-Morpork, lord Vetinari.
Your life mission is to turn this cesspit of crime and filth into an exemplar to Discworld. This will require atracting people from all over the Circle Sea and beyond by improvng their material standards. And providing a diversty of transport for them to get here. And get to their jobs when they do.
Life in Ankh-Morpork is exciting (disasters active) and balancing the city budget is a challenge (no autobudget). Fortunately, you have brough the wealth of the Vetinari family with you (1,000,000+ §).
If you can get the next generation of Morporkians to love you, you will be able to pull off something no other Patricaina has - retire alive.

Good L- ummm. ... Gods sp- errr. ... I'm sure you can handle it.

Scenario Goals

- reach 1,000,000 population
- provide horse busses and build the undertaking (public transport & metro)
- conncet the city with its neighbors using the Iron Girder (railway) and the Kite (aircraft)
- receive kindergardeners' art (high popularity)
- do not get assasinated by nobles (bankrupcy)
- do not get a revolution (riots)
- time limit 50 years
