About This File

Hello guys, my second lot features a typical Dutch bus stop. This type is mostly found in rural areas and towns. It's a sneak preview of a Dutch transport pack I will release in August. It requires no power or water, which makes it a great one for your village or small town. Enjoy :D

Great to see a bus stop suited for a rural setting rather than an urban one. Great work, keep at it. 5/5.

I like how it doesn't take up a building tile-It's plopped onto the road! But I don't see what it Dutch about it, it looks like any normal bus stop in the US.

Thanks! The only Dutch thing about them is the little post ;) I will make some more Dutch ones as part of a pack I'll release in August, and there'll be some other road-tops too.

To make this a real Dutch bus stop... place the bench a bit more to the back of the ''lot''. Try to make the sign yellow (as are allmost all Dutch bus stop sings, except for Arriva signs).

Om deze halte meer Nederlands te make... plaats de bank wat meer naar achteren. Probeer het bord meer geel te maken (zoals alle bushalteborden zijn, met uitzondering van die van Arriva).

Keep up the good work. Hou je goede werk vol.

Thanks for the tips! It's just a preview of a bigger pack, so it isn't really the best Dutch bus stop I could make ;)
Keep tuned for the big pack!

Nice treat wenter13, after the great looking church.

Have you considered adding an 'abri' to your bus stop. A typical Dutch one would be the 1960's concrete abri: http://www.hovm.nl/2/images/IMG_0444.jpg

Will you make subway stops too btw?

Thanks! I will make a few other Dutch bus stations. I've already made one with an abri, based on the one that I see like everyday when I travel to school (haven't uploaded this one yet) ;) I will probably also make a few subway, train and maybe tram stops for the Dutch Transport Pack, coming in August :D

This is extremely useful, and not just in a rural area! I have traditional bus stops everywhere, but I can't seem to get get traditional-style drop offs and stops where I don't want to mess with my zoning. Excellent mod! :)

This is not dutch. I am from holland. Haha

It actually is. If you take a closer look at the sign, you'll notice it's a regular blue and yellow Dutch one.
