About This File

Version 3 is out! Check it out!

https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/files/file/25952-city-facilities-central-v3/

No more trying to budget 30 different buildings! Or destroying buildings to make room for them!

The City Facilities Central is an all-in-one 6x6 building that supplies your whole city with the following:

-Elementary School

-High School

-Library

-Museum

-College

-Police Station

-Fire Station

-and an awsome landmark

All the buildings above features whole city coverage (try to place it near the center) and large capacity. Should be able to satisfy a large city.48.gif

You will see 3 helicpoters, 2 medical, and 1 police. But you need to plop a large medical center and a deluxe police station to activate them.

*NO DEPDNDENCIES!!!!!* 39.gif

*IMPORTANT*

This building pack comes in different lots, but they do blend in seemlessly, so please read the readme.pdf included to ensure the proper placement!

You may upload the file to other websites, but please email me at happyapple96@163.com when you do it and please keep the file in its original condition. If you wish to have some modifications made, please comment in the comments section.

Without commenting on the mediocre design and detail, part of the fun of building my cities IS budgeting and laying out the fire, police, education, hospitals, etc. It makes it look like a real city. Why would I want to eliminate that?

Great idea, and nice effort but building needs work! Keep working on it and I'm sure it will be an architectural wonder!

Not a bad idea for a small tile city but maybe combining Police/Fire in on building and education in another with variations on the same building style and color scheme would be better. City of Long Beach Ca has their main Police/Fire/EMS in one building right downtown and the city hall and main library next door and one block down the street. As for the style and color, seen things like this in real life, there are buildings from the fifties and sixties that still exist.

The idea would be perfect for my low density, all residential large tiles... but this would stick out like a sore thumb.... would be ideal for New York type cities, if this came as like a small shopping centre, it would be brilliant.

It looks like a ground breaking concept, regardless of countless modd cheats out there, and you deserve credit for making an original bat, although as a large 6x6 lot it needs much more polishing. Keep trying.

With the police cars parked so close, it doesn't look like the fire engines would be able to turn out of the garage. I might download this if it were just the building, not the six services inside.

Thanks guys for all the comments! I know this building needs a bit more work done on it, but I'm still a beginner on BATing and it's my first upload. I'm just having a little trouble with the textures. I will continue to work on this project and hopefully there will be a V.2. Thank you all for your support!

i actually like the design concept. practice makes perfect and i'm sure in the future you can update this building to meet the demands of eager simcitizens. i would also recomend to stick to one function for the same reason as neowolf.
