About This File

 Hello everyone! This is my second map uploaded to the STEX. This one is a map of fantasy. 

 

 Features include a large river, bay, and foothills slowly sloping upwards. Great for agriculture or industry, or a place to buoild your next metropolis on.

 

This map is part of a series of maps to come, by me.

 

The best places to build here are mostly by the river mouth, it is an excellent place for a seaport, or just a little haven town. Either or looks fantastic.

 

Here is a picture giving an idea of the city tiles. there are 14 large, 6 medium, and 8 small tiles included.

looks pretty good, could you use region census to show us an in-game generated pic of the whole map?

They are generated, but tweaked as well. I got a good greyscale shot for the Mediterranean Sea about tne minutes ago, I am enlarging it, testing it, saw what it looked like in Mapper, am now making the config, should be out by tommorow.

Have you ever tried hand-drawn? It's a little more time consuming, but the results can be stunning. I had tremendous success with hand-drawn maps when I first started out 5 years ago.
