Residence Heights 1.0

Hard to decide on the quality of the building based on this tiny picture (no, really, zoom in). The one thing I CAN see is that frightening reflection on the sides. it REALLY needs to be toned down, especially since this building would be reflecting the ground, not the sky. I would like to think this has some nice redeeming details, but, again, I can't see them.

It must have some sort of detail for that niteliting. Please provide a better picture that's zoomed in! Or else some people might rate it low based on a picture of this quality! But based the pic, I agree with SimHoTToDDy about the glass texture. I'll download it for a better look. Till then I'll be back.

the building in general is nice, but that refection! for the night lighting try lighting up sections of 4 or more lights instead of that^. i agree with you two about the pic, ZOOM IN please.

work on the glass texture. That is incredibly unrealistic. OTher than that, closer pic, better lot. etc. nice model though! 2/5

Well I took a better look and it came out nice. The textures, roof and base details could have alot of improvement. But you got a good facade design. I'll give you a 3/5 for this. Thanks for sharing. ;)

a version two is currently in progress. as for reflections. the reflections are a texture. I don't have photoshop so I cant make my own texture. anyway this is the first time I've done something on this scale. I did ask on my bat thread if I needed to do any changes before export, but nobody replied. so this is it for now

can someone please resize these images. i uploaded them to imageshack, resized them to 800x600 pixels, and they end up the same. any suggestions?

Try cropping them in some program like paint then upload them.

what pixel size

You should be able to like just make a box around the building with the cursor and have an option to crop it like in the tool box or whatever or the toolbar at the top. It should mainly be the building when you do that.

Is it me, or are these screenshots really low quality? Antialiasing seems screwed up.

It's not antialiasing, it's jpeg compression

It would be a better building if the ground had more work put in it
