Saint Augustine, Florida, located around 25 miles southeast of Jacksonville, is the oldest continually inhabited Eurpoean community in North America. Founded sometime in the early 1500s by the Spanish, the city has been in Spanish, British, Confederate, and American hands.
This Region is entirely within Saint Johns County, Florida.
