About This File

Well, I was going to save this until St. Patrick's Day, but it's too far off to wait.

This is a 5x5 R$ lot that will give your sims a taste of the old country. I've never been to Ireland, but the houses reminded me of what they would look like over there, complete with a stone road down the center. There's no plop or monthly cost. There's only a small bulldozing cost of $20. It houses a maximum 90 residents. So raise a glass of Guiness as I salute the Irish...er, almost two months early. :P

Good luck!

Stormy: The "stone road" is actually a base texture that can be found in your lot editor towards the bottom of the list.

What we really need is three or four variations of this (or a version with some random features) and transport enabled so that we can lay out a bunch of these together with minimal stretches of road or street between them so that we can get that real midlands city feel of terrace after terrace.

You have 30 houses there. I think a population nearer 120 or even 150 would be more in line with the feel of the place.

Nice to see something realistic. No need to wait for the day of ST Patrick, he wouldn't have.. I'll see if the voting machine works again for a 10.

Lol, these are my favorite SC4 houses as well. Good job jule, i really like the comment about updates involving transport enabled, and random props, and maybe a some 5x2 versions without the road as well for some diversity. a 10!

I positively love this lot ,but... the rowhouses simply don't appear! Do you have any advice to help me use it? I'm trying to build a british town and am desperate to use this lot... any dependencies you forgot to mention?

the actual houses are not showing up for me. you haven't mentioned any dependencies... does anyone have any suggestions? might it be related to the fact that i'm using a macintosh (SOMEhow... not sure how)?

These houses are rare in Ireland these days but certainly very nostalgic. Is there any chance anyone could make some other Irish buildings like the Parliament or Presidential residence. I know this is an odd request but there are some wonderful buildings on this site and it would be nice for some Irish users :-)
