Background:
The Åland Islands, sometimes refered to as "the Aland Islands" in English due to the special Scandinavian character "å", is a group of islands half a way between Sweden and Finland. The Ålanders speaks Swedish as their mother language, and because of their special Swedish culture at Finnish territory, they got a limited homerule when The Coucil of Nations decided that the islands should be a part of Finland, early in the 20th century. Today, the Åland Islands is home for about 20.000 persons, and is mostly independent.
Technical:
The scale isn't accurate, but not so very unrealistic.The terrain is more smooth than in real world, and some details in the landscape are removed to better gameplay. Tested and approved by myself, and should give a perfect in-game performance and playability, as well as realism.Consists of 4x4medium tiles.
