About This File
THE GREYSCALE FILE WAS WRONG, AND WILL BE CHANGED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE; PLEASE CHECK BACK AT A LATER MOMENT.
Background:
Skatval is a village, or more a rural area, in the middle of Norway. To show my love to my homeplace, I've remade it out of a Googe Earth picture.Skatval has a long history back to the stone age. In 1537, the Danish king conquered the Norwegian archbishop at the archbishop's castle in Norway – in Skatval more specific. The German battleship "Tirpitz" stayed outside Skatval during 1941, and the ship was bombed by RAF several times.
Technical:
It's upscaled, so the scale isn't 100% realistic, but the form is– to a point. I tried this once before also (before I knew how to actually do this), but now it's here.
This is my first (successful) upload, and I hope you like it. Please comment and rate.
I have to excuse for the small size of the in-game image. The map is, as you can see at the grayscale, much larger.
