About This File

This map is a real world place, but altered to suit my preferences.  The area is Tomahawk/Nokomis/Hefford Jct area of north-central Wisconsin [where I happen to live].  Tomahawk is basically a flat area, so I added in the hills, mountains and buttes.  All rivers and lakes are actual bodies of water in this area, the north/south river being the Wisconsin river.

THL Desert Terrain Mods [red scrubby desert] was used to render this map.  No other mods were used to render this map.   Map size is 2049x2049 and the config can be found here.  Comments and feedback are welcomed and thanks for looking.  If you dl, enjoy.

Thanks to both of you. Moganite, funny how you mentioned beachside communities when in reality Tomahawk is mostly low hills and ridges and swampy lol. I live on 40 acres and 2/3rds is swamp.....

......for those of you who don't like the desert look, simply render it to your preferences. The desert mod I used is not necessary to render this map, unless you like the look shown in the pic. That goes for all maps I've made that don't require the Mayspacy Terrain Climate Mod.

That looks ok, but a bit plain. Oh, and those maps made with the mayspacy mod will need it, or they will end up being mostly underwater.

Goldfish4209 - I think you misunderstood what I said. I stated 'that goes for all maps that *don't* require the mayspcey terrain climate mod.' cygnusx1 & beskhu3epnm - Thanks for the kind comments.

I'm seeing a lot of resort towns along those lakes featured in this map. Great work!
