I got an idea: 1x1 1 room schoolhouse. Elementry. 100 student capicity. perfect for the small town feel. 1x1 police station. 1-3 patrol cars, and 10 prisoner capicity.

Cool deal.This will work good for my cities that go crazy with the population,(EX. 300,000 in less than 2 hours last night).I'm sure you think of other 1x1 ideas.

in mexico we have these mobile homes that work as hospitals for communities that are far away from the cities, that's why i did it that way. btw thanks for all the comments

Great idea for the fire station, except that it really is just a garage with no station. We have a small 2-truck station in our neighbourhood that would be the equivalent size. What are the pollution stats on the power and trash items?

BIG WARNING: I tried to use these in my new city but once I reloaded, they no longer functioned and could not be bulldozed. Except for the burner. This is the only one that functions properly. The fire station, clinic and power generator all no longer function after reload.

How 'bout a police station, library, School and a college? Love your work!!!

I had the same issue as stormscape below. After I place these in my city, not long after they become non-functional and difficult to bulldoze. However, I find if you place them isolated from anything else, then they work fine. (no other zones touching).

Very good idea for very little towns

HERE"S A 1x1 IDEA: Garbage drop off points for recyclying. Call it Recycling Containers, or something :). These are quite common in europe and everywhere in germany since recyclying is mandatory. FUnction is to obviously reduce the amount of garbage, without side effects or other benefits.

it's ok, great idea, but there a problem when I want to buldoze one of those lot to make place to something else. Is there a way to get rid of them somehow?

I also now have a 1x1 firehouse in my city that bugs up my fire budget and can't be bulldozed. It's driving me nuts... Reckon' I'll search around for some sort of fix...

I got the same bug - but I found a Way to delete the placed lots:


1st clear some space around the placed lot (in my case 2 tiles in each direction worked)

2nd place exact the same building(just 1more) with the same facing(alignment?) right next to it

3rd delete both buildings at the same time -

As I said - it worked for me - but I guess this is more a Tip for someone who does not want to delete a whole region
