About This File

This a proportionally accurate map of the beautiful island of Cyprus. Due to its strategic position in the eastern mediterrainian, Cyprus has had a large military presence for many years, and has seen many conflicts over the centuries - but despite this, it remains one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The coastline is accurate, but the terrain is somewhat sylised.

I was at Cyprus in 2004, and I really like this map! Good job! You'll get 9/10 by me. Tip: Do it less stylished. Thanks!

Hi!
You must use SC4 Terraformer.
1. Unzip this file.
2. Create a new region in your game files.
3. Copy the config.bmp from this map into the folder you created, replacing it. I know you can edit the config.bmp, but I don't know how...
4. Start SC4Terraformer and select the new region you created.
5. Expand 'Global Tools' and click 'Import Image'.
6. Navigate to the unzipped folder and select the map file from this map and it should appear in a few seconds. It can take longer, depending on the size of the map, be patient or you'll crash the program.
7. Click 'File', click 'Save' and click 'Ok'.
8. Close SC4Terraformer.
9. Start SC4 and load the new region. Pay attention to this: the colours of the region in SC4 will be the same colours as SC4TF until you enter and save each city tile. But you have the choice to do it as you go and not right away.

Have fun, but take some time to sleep... :)

P.S. - I addapted the instructions from one of drunkapple's maps. I should work just fine.

I got relatives in Cyprus and have been there several times.

So now I'm making my own version of Cyprus - using your map :)

Thx
