About This File

Continuingnorthward from Lakomiak Island [my last map], that connects to thesouth, Alanuk features a varied landscape that includes steepsnowcapped mountains, lowland valleys, hills, Rivers, lakes, an oceanto the west, and a island.  Great for all types of cities andtowns.  Map is 2305x2305 and is configured for all size cities.

You'll need  Terrain Climate Mod by Mayspacy which you'll need to render this map & all my maps properly.  Extract this file "ImageImportModWithTerrainMax3300mOnly" to your plugins folder before rendering.

To be on the safe side, when you decide to play a region not renderedwith the Terrain Climate Mod, remove the file from your plugins folder.

A quick note: some of the narrower rivers seem to have dried up in spots. A little terraforming will be required for those areas. joeynymets: a total of 81 I believe it was.

I tried following the directions to the best of my abilities but nothing is happening for me. I imported the ImageImportModWithTerrainMax3300mOnly to the plugin folder. Do I need anoter mod with this for it to work? I hit shift+alt+ctrl+r and select the jpeg, nothing seems to happen?

rudoensis - I got your pm's and will try to figure out why the map won't render for you. DB - yeah, it took me 17 days [a few hours a day] to complete. I think I'll do some smaller maps for a while after I finish up this multi-part region.

nowhereman - It took my pc about an hour 10 minutes to render, but then again my pc has only 640mb ram and a 1gig processor so it may render slower compared to todays pc's.

I like it... But I just can't get it to render right. The rivers are dried up in some spots, and the mountains don't have the snow. The only plugin I'm using is the "ImageImportModWithTerrainMax3300mOnly".
