Berlin Mass Transit Theme  1.0

About This File

A set of Berlin Mass-Transit stop and station props from real Berlinese MT. This set of props works with the Roadtop Mass-Transit package.

These props being released as a "theme" doesNOT mean that you can have only them and you need to delete the rest; if you choose the prop-family implementation you can have them together with the props originally included in RTMT and/or the Additional Subway Entrance Props.

The prop models have been made by madawac. The bus-stops and bus-sign were originally released in the Berlin Busstops package, but were modified for use with the RTMT package. The subways were specifically made for RTMT. All models have nightlighting.

The are two subway models, the "Brutalism Stile" an example of it is the Innsbrucker Platz subway station in western Berlin, and the "Historism Stile" like the Französische Straße station in eastern Berlin. The busstops are the well known "Glass" and "Plastic" busstop models, but in this release they have nightlights as well!

Special thanks to madawac for his models.

Wow, this is thought outr very well! I don't use RTMT myself, but I love the way you made it possible to use "themes". This is what separates the good packages and the great ones. Plus those lovely night lights - wow!

They look really great and fantastic but ... maybe you could have put the words 'Bus Stop' in German. Just a thought

@Gingerblokey: Yeah, I thought the same - German bus stops only have "BUS" written on the road. ;-) The subway stations only have the "U" sign, but you could add "U-BAHN" or something like this on the road. Apart from that, really nice work!

@Gingerblokey, Andreas Roth: I could do this (busstop markings), like I have done it for the UK, if some people from Germany send me some pics and post them in this thread: https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=67803

Why when you plop them on streets, roads, avenues, one-ways, etc. the buildings that are in front of them (bus stations MODS) have no access to the actual road to which they are connected to. Please, anyone help me with this; if it is a poor install by myself or a malfunction in the game TELL ME!

TY
