About This File

A thriving metropolis on the coast and quant little bedroom communities and farming hamlets dotting the floodplains upstream. Sound good? Well c

The large crest running through the lower large city square should be fun to tunnel through. The second large sqaure should make a facinating metropolis; the narrow mesa runnning between the river branches is where I plan to put my high wealth mansions - the CEOs need a place to live.

Spec, everything that is black on the greyscale photo will render as water. Are you familiar with the compiling process? Take the config and the greyscale and place them in a folder named "Columbia Creek" (or whatever you want to call your region) in the region folder of your plugin folder.

...Start the game and load the region (it will be flat and without water). Press contr + alt + shift + 'r' and browse to the jpeg. Hit return and wait. The map takes about 30minutes to compile on a Pentium 2.8 GHz.

Calm, I got it to load. It is just level terrain where the water is supposed to be. I have all the Mountains and velleys. It is like the whole region is raised. There are sharp cliffs near the shoreline too. I think I will just use the terrain editor to make the water. Thanks

That's really strange, could it be related to a terrain mod you have installed? I've compiled it with the cycledogg terrain mod and vanilla and haven't had any problems.

Check to see that the notepad configuration file has the following parameters after the compile: Terrain type = 0; Water Min = 60; Water Max = 100. These are the DEFAULT settings. If you have changed these it will not compile as shown.
