This is the default Maxisland Region scaled up 2x. This was originally reversed via the SC4Mapper by exporting the file image, and then doubling the image size to achieve a bigger region. The doubled size allows for considerably bigger cities and more development within the same region as before. So, for those wishing to have more room in the original region, this one's for you. An unfortunate side effect to the doubling, however, is that the hills and mountains become stretched out, and thus a bit smoother overall. This may annoy some, as you might like having the really tall mountains, but, may make others happy. Sadly, I'm not so skilled in terrain/heightmap editing to be able to correct this for you, but, do feel free to adjust it to your heart's content. Included, you will find: -config 1.bmp (classic Maxisland layout) -config 2.bmp ("hex" grid) -a pre-rendered image -Maxis Bay.png (16 bit png) -region.ini Select which configuration image you wish to use, and edit it to: config.bmp Use SC4Mapper, then select 'Create Region', then click on '16 bit png' After, hit the '...' next to 'Filename', and search for the image. This should load up the greyscale image. It's best if you keep this in an easy to access folder, such as your Downloads, or Region folder. Then, select 'Config.bmp' and click on the '...' button, to grab the appropriate configuration file. If you don't wish to use either of these files, then leave it on default, and you can modify the map to however you'd like. May you grow bountiful cities of your dreams, and be a prosperous mayor!
