The Jetsons I think this kind of architecture can be fun to stop by while on vacation or something, but I wouldn't want it where I live, lol. It's a pretty fun style though!

yea, alot of people are very confused about copyright laws, they think that if they aren't making money it is legal... baldy, I think I figured out what your name is in real life

heheh I'm hoping that the Wagner Hotel will work well on a 2x2 lot. If it grows too much while testing then there might not be a 2x2 growable, but the ploppable will probably be 2x2. There can even be a limo in the driveway waiting for somebody! After I finish the projects I'm already working on, I think I'll make a few small buildings (1x1 light or med. density) to fit in with the chicago and new york tilesets. Then I have a few ideas about another hotel, a casino/hotel (a reward), and a train station. I'd also like to do more for the Barry Sanders Project. I'm realy glad that people like Monkey-Dragon Games. The comments here and on the STEX are very positive and I appreciate them alot. Should I make a new thread with my new username?

wow, it does look like the Emigrant Savings Bank! I'm glad you like the Wagner Hotel. do you (or does anyone) have any suggestions for it? I won't be rendering it for a while. There will definitly be a ploppable. How does everyone like my avatar? I spent a little time on it. It's the top of the Penobscot building in Detroit. http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=118560

Monkey-Dragon Games has hit the STEX. The people on the roof don't seem to be very popular, I might take them out and then update it. I think the roof might be a little plain with that empty space.

A café, bookstore, and game shop all in one! Erika the barista will serve you wonderful coffee as you play anything from Poker to Dungeons and Dragons, read (and hopefully buy) a book, or simply meet with your friends. Rich in quality, yet modest in price and atmosphere, let Monkey-Dragon games come to your town! The building stats have been tuned to blend as smoothly into default SC4 buildings as possible. However, if your city has a high CS$$$ demand and an abundance of 1x2 or 2x1 lots, you may notice the building growing frequently. Please keep in mind that many of the Maxis CS$$$ buildings repeat just as often, and that no amount of tweaking can avoid this while still having reasonable stats. The building versions in detail ============================= I. Growable C$$$ ( "Monkey-Dragon Games" ) ============================= This version works as a normal commercial building in every respect. Occupants: 30 CS$$$ (52 CS$$ / 88 CS$ when dilapidated) Growth Stage: 5 (2x2 lot) / 6 (1x2 lot) [You can install one of these lots or both of them.] Lot Size: 2x1 tiles (Stage 5) / 1x2 tiles (Stage 6) Tileset(s): Chicago, New York Grows on: Medium and dense commercial zones Bulldoze Cost: $ 226 Worth: $ 226 Value: $ 2,206 Construction Time: 22 days Flammability: 35 Max. Fire Stage: 3 Power Used: 8 MWh/month Water Used: 105 gallons/month Air pollution: 4 over 4 tiles Water pollution: 2 over 5 tiles Garbage: 5 tons/month A café created by: Jasoncw Modding by: T Wrecks- 42 Comments

I like Emporis alot. I didn't know that it used to be free. Yesterday I was surfing around and I saw a link to skyscrapers.com (or whatever it is) and it redirected me to emporis. Now the whole picture is coming together.

The story behind Kefka is that I made it one day on a different forum becuase all the other names I used where taken and I couldn't think of anything. When I registered with this forum I was sick of my old names, and couldn't think of anything new, and used kefka again. Mr brother uses a similair name, and in some cases it turned out that he was using the same name as me (kefka). At the time I registered I thought that only his aim sn was similair, but it turned out I was wrong. But I haven't been able to think of a better name untill now. So I changed it becuase it was always a temporary name to me, and because my brother had the same name. Also, Jasoncw is a little more profesional. I tried to change my aim screen name to Jasoncw but it was already taken : ( Jason is my first name, and cw are my middle and last initials. I've done a little bit more work on the Free press building since I last mentioned it, but not enough to upload a picture for. Right now most of the back is done, but the roof and main entrance are not. I still need to texture everything, but I'll do that after I reorganize my textures folder. I just posted the same thing in the bsp thread. I had actualy forgotten about it untill you just mentioned it .

I know the thread is long, and alot of the pictures are not working, but you realy should read the whole thread. You'll find the answer to your questions, and you'll learn some detroit development news too. I've done a little bit more work on the Free press building (This is kefka btw) since I last mentioned it, but not enough to upload a picture for. Right now most of the back is done, but the roof and main entrance are not. I still need to texture everything, but I'll do that after I reorganize my textures folder.

Here it is so far. imo it's lookin pretty good! There's still alot of work to be done though. I need to put some stuff in the lobby, do some landscaping in the open space in the back of the building, spruce up the entrance, convert some things into meshes, etc. It's going to be called Wagner Hotel. There might be a ploppable (maybe a reward?) (2x2), and then lots (2x3 and 2x4). The back will have some kind of garden (maybe english) and will be very nice looking. There might be very little or no parking space becuase all the guests get limoed around.

This is my new username. well, all the problems are fixed . The short red building (monkey-dragon games) is pretty much done. I sent the files to Twrecks to double check the stats, but when I played the game it seemed to be fine. Mary Hotel/Arms still has pretty much everything left to do on it except the BAT itself, so that might take a while. I highly doubt that I'll be finishing that building with the diagonal side in it's current form. I might make it a 2x2. I'm not sure if I'll keep the diagonal part of it. I made a small 1x1 which is a work in progress. I might be making more small buildings becuase they take less time to make and I can actualy finish them[:0].
