Pretty self-explanatory. The game will boot up fine but then whenever I load any plot, new or old or otherwise, the game will get stuck loading and then CTD. This has occurred on two devices now (Windows 10 desktop and Windows 11 laptop) Occurs with or without mods. Currently I am using the laptop and have only installed NAM as per instructions. Occurs with or without launch parameters as well. I only have custom resolution (1920x1080), CPU count 1 and skip intro currently. Any help?

I have a few questions regarding mods since I'm relatively new to modding SimCity and would like to get certain results but am unsure what would be the best mods to take. First off, On the official EA page for SimCity 4, there are a few images containing mods. The first image in particular has a below ground highway, and I would like to replicate this. What mods would I need? Only the NAM? There are also some pretty nice seawalls, what mods would you guys recommend to get nice seawalls and canals? Finally, The image has a sort of boardwalk/port. What mods would you guys recommend to do something similar? I would also like some mods for general purpose big park making, that would be awesome.

I'm pretty new to modding, and I'm looking for some decent buildings (zones, not ploppable) to mix up my city. I already have a lot of madhatter's office building packs, so I'm mainly looking for residential and to a lesser extent, industrial. Mainly R$ and R$$, R$$$ welcome tho. Other decorative mod recommendations would also be much appreciated!

Thanks! I'm not really building any particular "style", I just would like to get some more variety as it's kind of weird seeing 10+ copies of the same building in a row.

I noticed that the Origin version of the game has an update. Anyone know what this changed? Did it possibly fix the whole unpatched executable or whatever? Or something else? Or perhaps nothing important at all?
