Hello all!!! I have been away from SC4 for several years and recently wanted to get back at it. I downloaded the Deluxe version from Origin, not knowing about the incompatibility issue with the NAM. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to get the patched version through Origin. My understanding is that the version is not patchable so I can't even install the patch from here on Simtropolis. I also understand that, as a Windows 10 user, the original CD version is not an option. So, my question is: what is a safe site to download a patched(or patchable) version of SC4 Deluxe? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give!!!

It doesn't compare in beauty to the stretch of I-70 in Colorado referred to earlier, but Interstate 81 through western Virginia is also a very scenic drive. Simphonian Edit: I've never been on it but I understand the Pacific Coast Highway is a beautiful drive. Also, although it's not an interstate by definition, the Blue Ridge Parkway is a nice ride too

miguelkuk: Thanks for pointing out my error. It was not my intent to cast judgement on anyone who chooses to use pornography. It has, however, been well-documented that the use of it can break up marriages. My earlier illustration was simply intended to be an example of how our choices sometimes effects our lives in bad ways that are not nessecarily God's will for our lives

teddycole, a few thoughts on your "going deaf" example: I believe that all bad things that happen to us are NOT part of God's plan for our lives. Jesus says in Scripture that those who believe in Him will suffer trials and persecution. Okay, so one might argue that any suffering experienced because of being a Christian might be God's plan. But on the other hand, The Lord's Prayer states "Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" In other words God's will(i.e. plan for our lives) is not always done here on earth. Why? Because we are humans with free will. Do you think it's God's will for some happily married Christian man to ruin his marriage because of the use of pornography? No, if the man was truly a Christian He knew he should not use pornography but chose to do the wrong thing anyway- againt God's will. In Heaven, God's will is always carried out to perfection and after the second coming of Jesus it will be here on earth as well, as I stated earlier in the Lord's Prayer excerpt. To everybody else: I apologize for being so far off topic. I know this will surprise you but I'm a Creationist.

Hey all. I am newly registered here at Simtropolis. I am 34 yrs. old. My full-time job is as a middle school band director(I'm a trumpet player) and my part-time job is as music director at my church. I've been married for 10 years and my wife and I have three children(ages 4, 6, and eight). My wife and I are both originally from Pennsylvania but now live in Beaufort, North Carolina. As such I must argue with hauntedheadnc when he claims to live in the most beautiful city in NC earlier in this thread. I'm a bit of a late bloomer with Sim City. I didn't start playing until SC3K about 4 years ago. I don't have as much time to spend playing as I would like so my cities are quite inferior to many seen here but I vicariously enjoy the many successful cities posted here. Happy Simming.
