  1. Traffic problem

Subways don't contribute to traffic, right? But yeah, if you don't want to use too much space, use the NWM pieces to make 4-lane narrow roads... and make monorails.
  2. That Unused Moisture Data View

We need a Maxis code Rosetta Stone...lol.
  3. I don't know how the modding and coding things work. Just please bear with me... sorry. So, I guess there is a chance, but it's difficult enough that it stays out of reach for the most part (the dll part, I mean)? Do the overpass and viaduct puzzle pieces work with NWM? Also, there is no way to connect Avenues to the 4-lane NWM narrow road... sucks. No idea if this was intentional.
  4. But the Simulator Z/NAM core can be modified to support multi-cores, right? And the multi-core support CTD would be prevented by the dll?
  5. Mexico doesn't exist in my Simcity Game, so it's going to have to come out of mine...like it probably would in real life if Trump was being honest.
  6. Ok thanks. A 10% performance boost is still ok since that generally kicks in periods of lag/high processor usage...
  7. I might want all BIG maps, and increase the size of a region. Is that possible, even with mods?
  8. I suppose there is no way to curcuit the code to make use of multiple cores? I meant 3-lane roads, sorry. Does the lack of turning lanes change anything or is it just cosmetic? Huh, never found it that RRW connection piece... it's probably my fault. is there a download for RAM? Thanks, it seems to be from the bridge, not the street. It's only there that it's a problem, that's why I was asking. Everywhere else, there is no texture issues. I wonder why? city with all CS$ does not generate traffic to go those buisnesses... meaning the streets are ghost towns- help? Is it just a limitation of the simulator, and I have to work around it?
  9. That Unused Moisture Data View

And interesting idea would be to use this to make a 'groundwater' mod- like in real life, areas with more subterrain moisture would produce more water, and pumping water would decrease the moisture in that particular area. Would make a desalination plant really useful
  10. This isn't really transportation related- but large maps are REALLY slow on my computer- considering it's a fairly modern laptop with windows 10... And yes, I have the graphics carrd optimisation trick. Also, the NAM cable stayed monorail bridge lacks a actual 'cable stayed' component. Picture below. Also, NAM ELA networks lack the proper props... And I have NAM reinstalled. No idea why, I didn't delete anything. Also, why do those networks not have turning lanes when I have them enabled? I thought they were draggable? Single track rail (when I was using RRW), did not have a single- to dual rail connector puzzle piece, making proper connections to those networks impossible... And why did RRW increase the rail gauge? Different nations have different rail gauges.... Also, there is a problem with textures on street turns, as shown.
  11. are there any maxis lot alternatives of dual level highways then? or for more lanes?
  12. I don't mean that. Ii tried that and it was still RealRailway. It doesn't seem NAM got rid of it. I should delete all NAM folders and run cleanitol to maakes sure no RRW remanants remain... And Maxis Highway override is not an option if I want to use both highway systems...
  13. If I have low settings, should I use RHW if needed (it's getting a little congested in Exsri Pass, and the slopes make many interchanges difficult)? Is there draggable RHW? Also, it seems just reinstalling NAM did nothing. I need to delete the NAM folder now... Also, there is no T-style highway to highway interchange in RHW. Something I use a LOT.
  14. It's because I added another City to the south of Sikigrat- the congestion is the inter-city transportation... I don't really want to use monorail because that would cost a fortune... Which is why I wanted TTR to reduce congestion...
  15. No, I mean if the tiles are blank. Can their size be changed?
  16. still, RHW had 6-lane highways... How do I fix rail and subway congestion then? There's not TTR for subway...
  17. why not city tiles? What if I want a blank tile to be a large tile rather than a small one? and what about concequences on the cities? why?
  18. so the RAM work was redone from the start to make it easier to work with in the future? Still, it seems like a waste... And I still don't get why track jumping would happen. It should just be a higher capacity rail on a single tile lot, right? Just increase the RRW rail carrying capacity... and add new puzzle pieces... There were a LOT more bugs than that. A lot or rewards didn't have working programming, along with a few ordances, and the traffic controller... along with other things like teleporting ferries, roundabouts, the difficulty of building tunnels through cities and water, intercity bridges, RHW, HSR, and stock RTMT... Come to think of it, they really should have made at least 1 more expansion pack for Simcity 4 before quitting it... Call it "We-really-needed-more-development-in-this-incomplete-product" expansion pack. Or the Last Hour expansion pack. Very fitting, since Simcity 4 Rush Hour was one of the few last good things from SimCity...
  19. Why wasn't the RAM work just moved to NAM? And I can see why TTR would have that problem, but QTR would not, I would think- it's just increased capacity rail, after all...
  20. It's not for me, because my style is fundementally different...
