Hi there, I post another topic since I have a problem with Lot Editor this time. I have a steam version of SC4 on Windows 10 installed in the steam library (I tried to install it outside of the library, it seems like it doesn't want to). When I try to launch loteditor from the Steam root, it doesn't work. A window opens for a few seconds then closes itself. I tried to run as admin the software, still have the same problem. I searched up in the task manager, no task seems to be related with LotEditor. I tried with another version of LotEditor installed this time with BAT. The problem here is the same. I tried also to download the .exe installer found on this website and SC4Devotion, but it doesn't want to install too. When I try to install, I run the installer as admin, but it says that it's unable to read registry. I tried to find out where this issue comes from, but I don't have any fix under the hand. Some people say that it might come from the fact that the place where SC4 is installed is different from what the software wants it to be. If you have any fix regarding that, please comment bellow. I really want to develop things for SC4, as it is the main reason I bought SC4 for.

It's the installer version ? If I remember I have another error with it telling me that it doesn't find the registry or somehow can't access it... A lot of things to deal with hope that everything will be fixed at the end

All of these problems were fixed as of now. Thanks for your replies, you were very helpful. I'm just figuring out how to open my lot editor since it closes as I run it with or without administrator. I have a steam version and that seems to break a lot of things in those extra softwares.

Hi, thanks for your fast reply ; Just tried your option, I still have the same error. I forgot to tell you that i'm using Windows 10 and that it worked perfectly in the past on another Hard Disk. It renders perfeclty the first image and stops when it tries the second one. Edit : Just tried with a simple house, it worked. Maybe it comes from the fact that this model contains too much polygones. Thanks for your help !

Hi there, I'm planning on making my own town out of my own buildings, but before I need to create each lot. The thing is that I installed GMAX and BAT editors to make those and that when I try to export my model with BAT editor, it returns the first image then stop with error 6. According to the description of the error online, I have enough ram (16GB ram) and no SimCity 4 or LotEditor running at the same time. How could it happen ? Do you have any common fix regarding this error ? Thanks for your further replies.
