I need help with this procedure, because I'm new at manipulating files and find some steps been understood for the more experienced users. I would like somebody could explain these steps more precisely, and I'm sure I won't be the only grateful since these post are seen by many people who are like me.

Yes, it's true and even I tried to restart the PC, but it showed the same error window; as you have said, maybe it' s a OS issue. Since I'm not skilled at Pc's functions, I can only speculate, but most posts here including yours are really helpful.

I had this problem before; usually you'll have to delete the old Simulator config file before it will let you change the settings. This is because deleting the file prevents the system from thinking that something is using it. Unfortunately if you've changed any settings these won't be retained, and you have to remember what you had before, but if this is your first time editing the simulator then don't worry about it. You can try running the NAM installer as an administrator a second time (select all the same options) and see if this affects the whole "SC4 is running" issue, but I'm not sure. I can't remember if that worked for me or not, and I can't replicate it because I recently did a system reinstall and no longer have the problem (fingers crossed!) Well, I tried uninstalling and installing it again and it worked, thanks. Also, I realized I would have to do this operation every time I want to change simulator's settings, but I think it' better than nothing, isn't it?

I realized I had committed an error saying that the problem I have was related with CAM? What I meant to say was that I have problems with the Nam traffic simulator configuration tool. The first time I changed some settings it worked, but now it doesn't let me save my new configurations saying that and error had happend and it's possibly because sc4 is running, and it isn't. Please help and sorry me for my English.

So is there another controller or option ?

Hello everyone, this is my first post, I'd like you to help me with a issue with the traffic simulator included with CAM. When I open the tool bar and try to save my new settings it shows me an error square that says that sc4 was probably running.
