Good God I hate rail dirt

If you can't drive through it in UDI, there is a bug (Install Simcity 4 Extra Cheats plugin, then use "drawpaths" to look at the paths, they are facing the wrong way!). To fix it, you need SC4 Tool: 1. Backup your plugins 2. Install SC4 Tool, open it up in TE Editor mode, open the .sc4lot file of the bugged station from this pack 3. For where the GLR track should be in the station, it is represented by the letter H 4. Right click on a square that has "H" in it, select "Edit Reps (Expert)" 5. In the dialogue box that belongs to "Rep 16", it should read 0xAF1DACA0. Change this value to 0x580CC700. 6. Repeat process for all squares that has "H" in it. Save the .sc4lot 7. Repeat process for all bugged stations (Bugged stations only!!!) 8. open up your game, plop the station, use "drawpaths" from Extra Cheats, transit enable the station by dragging El-rail over the track. You should see the path be facing the right way, and you can drive through it in UDI. I am using NAM v32 as I am writing this

LRM (Light Replacement Mod) - Support, Development and Discussion
radicalapple replied to MandelSoft's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Ok, so if LRM needs to load after NAM, does it mean there will be functions in NAM that would get altered by LRM's modding?- 322 Replies

LRM (Light Replacement Mod) - Support, Development and Discussion
radicalapple replied to MandelSoft's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
I don't think this gets mentioned, but it seems to me this LRM has minor conflict with NAM, if GLR Drag Extension Plugin was installed as part of NAM. When I installed LRM v5.1 UK set, I noticed some streetlights in residential zone didn't get replaced and none of the streetlights in industry zone get replaced. No matter how many times I "updated" the street by building new street, those lights always remained as Maxis light. This only happens with streets, not roads. I learnt that both GLR Drag Extension Plugin and LRM Override Set.dat interfere with Type-21 exemplar, so I think there is a conflict. When I made sure LRM loads after NAM by adding "zzzzzzz_" to the folder name, everything got fixed and all the lights got replaced with new streetlights. So I think if LRM loads before NAM, the GLR Drag Extension Plugin will conflict with the LRM streetlights override function. PS: I don't know anything about modding, the above was just my postulation.- 322 Replies
