The Republic Of Sulfur Plains | Update 2: All Aboard the Train!
rooker1 replied to whoatemydinner's topic in SC4 City Journals
Hello Piotr, Great start. The intro is very nice, the name is a fantastic idea, the river pics are great, but the power station is lacking some details. It looks very empty and dead, just my opinion though. Otherwise....great stuff. I'll definately be back to see what you have for us next. Robin -
Happy 4th Birthday AVR! Hey John, Great to see this CJ going so strong after 4 years. I have sent you a Pm over at SC4D. See you around, Robin

I'm confident with who I am, I don't need to be tested. Robin

That is awesome and absolutley crazy my friend. Thanks for sharing that with us. I was waiting for this. I actually saved this on my computer here at work. hehehe. I hope to hear from you soon. Robin

Super work my good friend. On to new things I hear. Good for you. Although this is a great CJ, maybe one of the best I have ever followed, there is always something bigger and better over the horizon. I can't wait to see what you have for us next. Robin

Hello John, First off, that link you gave to the Gibson site. I checked it out. I don't know much about these people or guitars, but holy man, BB King and Freddie King. The two guys are incredible. Can you play anything from one of them? Is this your type of music/inspiration for playing guitar? It's always nice to learn something about another's passions. And sure this is one of yours already. As I'm sure another one would be SC4, as this was another awesome update. I think you have become the plop water/ rural King master. Okay, okay I know I need to learn when to stop, but it was a really good update. Very nice choices with the industrial lots. I personnelly love those big lots. I always say you can't have enough industry and they can never be too big. That's why I'm so excited Jestarr and Citynut are working together on the Germany VW Plant. It's planned to be 25 x 25. And so far they are at 15 x 8. Check this out. Anyways, great update and I'll see you again soon my friend. Robin

Hi John, How are you doning? The last two updates were fantastic as always. Great work, I really like how you throw in the odd pond from time to time, very country. And the way you do it, it looks very realistic as well. It really good to seee that you can work on just one map for so long. I get bored very easily and like to destroy entire cities to start again. Although with my last start, I have been able to play this one the longest so far. But I did destroy half a city to start again with the built in GLR to the avenue. I should be able to show some pics of that in the next week or so. Do you think at some point you will be doning a busy downtown with skyscapers and such? I think it would be interesting to see how you would tackle that. I hope your guitaring is goning as well as as last you told me. My family is super and my summer is going just as well. I'll see you again soon. Have a great summer, Robin

Yes I did enjoy that last update, great work. I see alot of new NAM pieces, very nicely laid out and your GLR looks great as well. I'll be watching this one. Robin

Wow, super work as always John. I can't believe so much time has passed so quickly since my last visit, jan 12th to be exact. But I'm here now and that's what counts, right. I have just spent the last three hours flipping back and forth between your CJ and my daily work, trying to not get caught. hehehehe, If they only knew. There are so many good things to say, I don't know where to begin. Your methods for making the perfect bridge is outstanding and I have adopted it myself quite a while ago. Your style of showing us your CJ the way you do is a very good learning experience. HOw is life treating you and how is your guitaring coming along? You must be great by now. I did read that you only play about an hour a week. That's about what I get too. My second boy was born May 6th, so I am very busy. Two boys and a wife, a huge handful. Anyways, great work, I'll try to stop by more often and take care my friend. Robin

I just went through every page, outstanding work. I love how each update is a new city and you seemed to have captured them all very nicely. The over all feel for each of the cities you choose is great. You have found a few landmarks that fit in perfect. I'll be waiting on the edge of my seat for the next update. Robin

In the begining of this thread. They belong to Buddybud. Robin

Sorry, to hear what happened. I would like to see some over hanging filler lots for under puzzle pieces and bridges as well for industrial areas. Keep up the great work my friend. This stuff is awesome, what about this? Robin

First, great cj and great pics. I stopped in to see if you use your airport packs in your CJ, and obviously you do. I think I will DL it and use it in my cities. It looks great.

Everything looks fantastic. I love the city and transit layout.

The last two updates were fantastic. Your rural cities are actually looking better, which may seem impossible because they are so great looking already. Anyways hopefully work isn't too busy for you and we'll hear from you soon. Take care and you have a great 2007 also.

Hello John, I hope all is well and you had a fantastic holiday and I wish you a happy New Year. Wow.........I haven't been here in a while. I missed so much. RL is just too busy now. I wish there really was a converted that controlled time, you like the one in that movie with Jim Carrey. I think I would put it on pause every day for about an hour. Anyways awesome updates as usual, that's why you won the Trixie. Congrats on that acomplishment. See you soon............
