SimCity 2013 not running for me since windows 8.1 update don't worry your not the only one just google windows 8.1 and SimCity 2013. Windows messed up my SimCity 4 too. Bunch of %^%^ing @$$%^

I'm having a graphical problem came out of no where. I haven't downloaded anything recently and everything was working good building a big new city got NAM last year and everything was great, then suddenly yesterday I get a severe graphics glitch. Roads just disappear and some buildings turn black. If I change views the glitch will then move to another area it kind of looks like a slice across the screen. I can't post photos as the I copy the url link into here and the url just sits there and I press okay and does nothing. Just more garbage I deal with feels like there is a conspiracy against SimCity 4 in my life effin hate it. Hate the other brainless garbage uncreative retard games. Sorry for no picture.

Yep Civ 5 is still fun to play. But as your nation gets larger (same with Civ 4) you can just steam roll the AI. This is why I've moved to Europa Universalis the combat is not as fun as Civ 5 but the realism is awesome.

I also wonder whats the maximum number of years for the "Change building style every ___ years" maybe set that to like a million years if i'm sure its on Chicago 1890. Anyway I will try the ways said. Thanks.

I don't like this "Beyond Earth" I think it should only be an extra to Civ 5 so instead of ending in 2050 you bring your civ into "Beyond Earth" but keeping the war going on earth too. Personally my favorite part of Civ 5 is the history aspect. I don't like how the game rushes through the ancient and classic eras as one turn is about 50 years or 100 years in those eras I don't agree with that at all. Alexanders army marched through the entire Persian empire in 10yrs. the Persian empire spanned over 5 civs including itself Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, and India. You can't march an army over the area of 5 civs in one turn in Civ 5. Also Rome must have spanned 10 civs and they achieved that by year 0, but good luck taking over 10 civs by year 0 in Civ 5 almost impossible even with praetorians. Next Rome split up into new civs after its collapse, so why can't new civs form in game in Civ5 through civil wars? Further no civil wars in Civ5 that's ridiculous as every civilization had regular civil wars. Instead you get barbarians spawn that do nothing no new civ formation out of a previous civ. Like how Byzantium formed from Rome, France from Rome, America from Britain, Britain from Celts, China from Mongolia etc.

more Regional Industry. It looks like you taxed your dirty industry in that demand bar. I know there is a correlation between regional industry and high wealth commercial office. So if you don't want to do mods you have to do the monotonous tasks of building large grid industrial and ag areas in order to get that office demand. And no suburban office unless your going for an LA style. But if you want the NY style then no suburban offices to hurt your downtown high rise commerce demand.

I'm having a lot of problems with this too I've tried all combinations and still can't figure out how to make it work. I'm trying to make all my buildings stay Chicago 1890. so I only check the Chicago 1890 box...BUT what other box do I check? "build all styles at once" or "change building style every ___ yrs."? it seems just leaving the Chicago 1890's box checked does nothing I'm still getting obviously modern buildings cause they are all glass. An all glass building just is not Chicago 1890 or even New York 1940.

People stomping around country to country? i'm friends with muslims, I know and went to school with many muslims all good people. The mayor of Calgary is muslim. they are not terrorists. Many muslims in Scotland none are terrorists there are no terrorist attacks in Scotland. What because of 1,000 murderers in Iraq we need trillion dollar a year militaries? 1,000 murderers in Detroit what about some Detroit military deployment? Oh but of course the national governments want to pretend there is such a terror threat and immigration threat. No I think they are just scared of globalization, well Its a globalized world, I'm a globalist, I have a wonderful quality of life today solely because of globalization.

Yes for Scottish independence, my opinion we live in a globalized world now which makes national governments useless, and communities can self govern and live off of global free trade. In Canada I don't even know what the federal government does? Probably same for UK what does the UK government do? My electronics are from Japan, exercise bike from China, car from Japan, food from Mexico, clothes from China, meat from Alberta, gasoline from various places, employed by American company, educated by money from oil sold to Americans...seriously wtf does the federal government in Ottawa give me? do they enforce world trade agreements? NO, because world trade operates on self interest. do they issue currency? yes...but I can use yen, u.s. dollar or gold...so why do we need a national government again?...airport security?

all cities reach borders usually blocked by neighbouring cities, it is only when they amalgamate do you get a larger city.

About that video of the tornado damage what the heck was taking that footage? It looks like the construction of these buildings is what causes most of the damage. Wood frame buildings just get torn to shreds by wind damage like this. Most buildings in these rural areas seem to be built quite lightly wood frame barns and light metal sheds. But the Insurance companies pay for wind damage, so most people I think will get their money back here.

Anybody know a fix to this bug? I've been enjoying the game so far, but this is a big glitch for me I like watching the traffic on the ramps. I just can't believe the developers missed this one and haven't fixed it yet.

hmmm...so in other words your saying I must get the highway mod? and in the highway mod do the cars drive on the ramps?

i hope there is I already saw one on here that can move utilities outside the city borders. If there is a mod for map size don't be too eager to get it either wait for good reviews and lots of pictures before you download it.
