I've been fooling around with this building for a several hours now. It's in Sketchup, not the BAT. Does anyone like it? I kind of feel like it's going nowhere really. Positive/negative feedback is welcome.

Thanks for the suggestions and tips and stuff guys. However I think that building is scrapped. I just didn't like where it was going, maybe I'll be coming back to it one day. For now this thing has been eating all my time... It's partially inspired by the Sears Tower and the Burj Dubai. I think it's 113 floors and about 1778' feet i think. What do ya think?

I changed the base a little and added texture to the vertical spaces on the sides. I'm really at a loss of what to do with the base. Any suggestions?

Okay, so after almost a year of not playing this game, i finally started last night. The game worked fine last night and also this morning. Then about an hour ago I restarted the game and the title sequences and ea game logo stuff are all squished over to the right side of the screen. Also, the game looks like this: Anyone think they know why this is happening?

Hmm.. I just changed it to software and that seemed to have done the trick. But to me it looked like the game was trying to project itself onto 2 different monitors. I checked all the display settings on the computer and there was nothing that idicated that there were even 2 monitors connected. So I guess changing the rendering from hardware to software was the problem?

No I just reinstalled it too, so it's basically brand new. This is really weird.

I went to Washington D.C. in July, and I was a little dissapointed. They'e turned the thing into freakin' Disneyland. There's no restraunts near the actual Monuments and stuff, just overpriced hot dog carts and kiosks. Also, immediatley outside of the Mall area is just poor housing, low income neighborhoods and liquor stores. Sure the Mall area is pretty, but for the capital city in one of the most powerful nations in the world, it's a little crappy.

Haha dude i love sketchup. It just makes me angry cause i can never finish anything. I have literally dozens of un finished models that i just get bored on and move on to something else. But I think its cool that you're help getting sketcup into the front lines of simtropllis "batting"

You know what I was thinking, living in a Sim City would totally suck. Imagine just sitting in your shiny new suburban home, and boom, bulldozed...because Mr. Mayor decided he wanted a new park...or maybe a freeway...there's no mercy in my towns, I've demolished the shiniest r$$$ neighborhoods in favor of a new highway system...and some canals..Tough break Sims... -

Anarchy..hell there's so much anarchy I don't even zone. i just go to god mode and unleash those animals. they just run around, now buildings, nothing. anarchy in the sim city k. -

Ahhh who couldn't love the good ol' smoggy L.A. Skyline. But probably a more beautiful skyline is San Diego. -
