I too have had a reply from Aspyr. They have duplicated the 10.4.3 graphics problem and are looking into it. However it seems that Sims2 has more severe problems with 10.4.3 and as that is a bigger seller we may have to wait. anyway, I just have to boot into 10.4.2 and I can then play SC4K OK again. (and I have checked my G5 is on highest CPU setting with no nap) BTW, all this checking and changing video resolutions has enabled me to find that the highest resolution which I can use which upon saving a map does not result in the blue bar across the city in region view is 1600x1000. I hope that makes sense.

with 10.4.3, I am now getting black blocky artifacts when I scroll SC4K. I have an ATi Radeon X800 (and dual 1.8 G5) no problems with 10.4.2 I have noticed that the graphics drivers have changed in 10.4.3 I don't know who to complain to !! Apple or Ati !

Architecture of Manchester and Liverpool
honiton replied to GaryReggae's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
You certainly got around during your stay. I am a scouser, and I live on the south coast...I escaped some years ago They don't tell the tourists that it isn't the original Cavern Club. The extension to the underground Merseyrail went right through the original. The picture A43 of the lifting bridge leads to (if memory serves) a dock where Samson the biggest floating steam driven crane used to be moored. Somewhere near there is where the Leeds & Liverpool Canal connects through locks to the Mersey. Of course you can't see any remnant of the fab overhead docks railway (unless you know where to look) it had a big station Riverside at the Pier Head. How I miss the old floating landing stage with it's warehouses. Pity you didn't get to see inside the Philharmonic Hall (..in the philharmonic Hall where there's nudies on the wall...) or the Philharmonic Pub opposite with the most outragious marble toilets you have ever seen. The Anglican Cathedral has the 2nd largest Organ in the world ( biggest is Mormon temple in Salt Lake City) The view from the top of the tower is overwelming. Talking about views we used to dine regularly at the restaurant at the top of St John's Beacon (paddy's totem pole). I also recall dining in the Post Office Tower in London. Same rotating restaurant, and now neither is open to the public for security reasons ( and the short-sightedness of Liverpool) One thing you didn't realise was the large number of Royal equestrian statues (many more than London or anywhere else). Also the area around Water Street and the Town Hall has far too many to mention jewels of design and architecture to mention. The Lion Bronze doors, the banking halls, even the passport offices, and regretfully the chains of the slaves. come back soon -
I have a dual 1.8 G5 with 4GB RAM using a Raptor HD, the graphics is still the basic GeForce FX 5200 (short of cash at present) Remember that SC4K can't access dual processors or 64 bits either I am in no doubt whatsoever that SC4K has benefitted from Tiger, screen redraws seem much better
