    Nat I think it's been a brave move by Maxis and we really are playing a gamma version that will enable them to unlock the much larger areas later. If we can get this high-density central area working then farmland will be a doddle.
  4. Thinking on it JG, why are travellers boarding the working airship and going somewhere and coming back when I only have one city and one airship port in the new region. So many test pilots This thought inspired my original doh comment. Who the Dickens would have imagined that sims could be so trusting of an airship airline that's apparently taking hostages.   5. I started a new region last night and in the first city I installed the airship port along with the extra ship available. The main airship takes off right away and moves people. The other blimp on inspection is a Commuter ship, and that just sat there until I add one more city presumably
  6. Yes JG, I installed airship depots in two cities and tourists immediately started arriving at my attractive but remote mountain resort I do not pay much attention to sims' desires. They've already forgotten what they were wanting just yesterday anyway

    All delivery vehicles have gone missing for me twice now, I model it as shortages but it's scary and buglike perhaps. Depots full of plastic but nothing moving, with little traffic in the region and an export railyard delivering
  16. Why do we play this game?

    I've enjoyed the game since pre-order. All my cities are running ok and there's a challenge in each settlement to exploit the natural resources available I'm not so much a Sims fan although I enjoy running any kind of simulation, ants being a favourite I like the godlike view from the Ferrisch wheel, aiming to launch a rocket one day to take my people off-planet - a visit To Planet Earth if we can just escape from the bottle. Yep big comics fan too
