Is the police station lagging BAT? Did you try to hide the transparent windows while you work? Transparency the worst capacity eater in BAT!!

Just one little request about the sign, the letters on signs like this are usually centered around the vertical axis like this P O L I C E - not like P O L I C E

The building looks great, but I do not think that they ever make fences around Helipads (would be unsafe if some strong wind would catch the Helicopter during landing/ take off I guess). If people are likely to fall off they sometimes have nets spanning horizontally out from the helipad.

Berlin - Past, present and future
Odd from Sweden replied to Erdmoebel's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
This corner building looks really cool, reminds a bit of the architecture in Finland from this period which had often very heavy stone facades. Hmm but do Bauhaus buildings have golden windows?? Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think this kind of glass (I think You mean this old kind of sunheat-protection glass You can see on the Palast der Republik) was on the market before 1959 when floatglass was invented?? -

Really good piece from the too short ages of the Weimar Republic! Nice start for a new Erdmoebel-era May I suggest that You make the Shell-building in Berlin by Emil Fahrenkamp? Do You know it? Here is some info: http://www.archinform.net/projekte/862.htm?ID=FgIgL9JV3taUxa5t http://www.gasag.de/de/architekten/gasaghaus/ http://www.berlin-en-ligne.com/shellhaus.php (in french, but good picture :-) -

Those helps the ships and yachts to navigate trough the waters of Your city. I was inspired by Cobb to make something that could fit in the water, and here it is! Many thanks to Cobb for sharing the secrets of water lots! You will find the red and the green buoy in the park menu, they cost only 10- 37 Comments

Berlin - Past, present and future
Odd from Sweden replied to Erdmoebel's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Date:6/20/2004 4:08:46 AM Author:Holy Knight Rivera Are almost all buildings in berlin, wall2wall? the rowhomes are similar to JENX's french rowhomes, becuz I visited skyscraper.com and looked at berlin, and make a similar pattern. For example key B-building(i.e.rowhome) O-open space(i.e.plaza,or yard) R-road or avenue RRRRRRRRRRRRR RBBBBBBBBBBBR RBBBBBBBBBBBR RBBOOOOOOBBR RBBOOOOOOBBR RBBOOOOOOBBR RBBBBBBBBBBBR RBBBBBBBBBBBR RRRRRRRRRRRRRquote> No it is not really like that. There are no open spaces in the middle of the blocks, typically 80% of the area of a block is covered by buildings. A block in Berlin may be up to 150 meters deep and the lots are packed to the max with back buildings. This map of Berlin (parts of the city center around 1900) shows what it looks like: You might see a green area in the middle of a Berlin block, but then it is a result of World War 2 bombings. -

Oops, my Reichstags-scans were deleted due to file size... If the issue is detailing I guess the file size should allow details to be seen but what am I to know?? Erdmoebel, if You still are interested in the old dome and did not save the pics already, I can mail them to You - I think I still have them on the HD in scool. -
