  1. On the SimCity 4, there are two query arrow tools, one that shows where the cars and pedestrian transfer to and from work, and the other query shows how many jobs are available in the building. I noticed when I used the query tool to find out information about the Industrial building, I go over a building and it says (Freight and Workers none), but I clicked on the other query arrow tool, and it says (8/10 jobs) on the same building? Also on the other information I used the query tool that gets information over an industry building it says Workers Car:124, but I used the other query tool and it says 7/13 Jobs. What's the 124 cars out of 7/13 jobs? Can someone answer the two questions if you understand what I mean, this only happens on the Industrial buildings not on residential or commercial.
  2. Connecting region`s and roads

It's only for cities in a region to have road connections. I believe that when you open a new region it's just starts a fresh new region with no other regions around it. You can however pretend that the other region is next to it. That's what I have been to my regional area. I'm in the U.S. and I was making a California state region, which I opened several regions, but even though I can't connect, I just had to pretend that they were next to each other.
  3. How do I show screenshots on here if I need to ask a question. How do I take a screenshot from the game and put it on here.
  4. I'm in medium mode play and the business's are not high in demand. How can I get a higher demand to bring in more business's because a lot of Sims are moving out of No Job. Is it a slower growth on medium mode? The second question is can I have a residential only in one city, and a commercial, industrial in another, separate cities? Will the Sims have jobs crossing the city lines? What about the college and universities in another city, can Sims go from one city to another for those.
  5. Two questions on one topic.

The Sims can travel to an Industry city by avenues/roads neighbor connection region even though residential is in another city?
  6. I was almost confused on your second photo, I thought it look like a route query tool of pedestrians and cars going to that tall building., but I looked again, but it was meant for avenue. I know this may be an answer off topic, but I didn't knew that pedestrians and cars and travel between cities, cool though, I didn't use the query tool that much.
  7. Two questions on one topic.

Thanks for the information. It's just in reality where I live, I worked in a different city, but I went to school within the city limits. But for colleges they were outside the city boundaries, but I could attend to the college even though I didn't lived in that city. Also in my area a lot of the industrial buildings are away from residential and commercial.
  8. Two questions on one topic.

In the second question, can Sims travel to a neighboring city for college or is the college for just one city?
  9. I'm afraid up till that moment when everything starts to slow down.
  10. On the RCI, I see where it shows the colored blocks goes up and down the line a lot. I know I played this for so long, just having a thought as of now I needed to ask.
  11. It's been good, there's a lot of people who came up with good mods and NAM's.
  12. SimCity 2013 Offline Mode

I hope the future of games, even city building, is not all going towards internet games only. SimCity 4 isn't an internet connection game, it plays on disc, onto the computer.
  13. I have so many open unnamed cites in a region, just a thought what you can name a city?
  14. The city I'm building is much more in reality where I put all the residential homes in one area and they drive through the neighborhood of the streets, and putting the commercial offices/services along the avenues. The Sims house is about 7 tiles away from their job and their commute trip on the query tool says it's medium, other than short, and if the house is about 10 tiles away, it says it long. Sometimes I see a house where a for sale sign is up because the family moved out because the commute was too long. Do I need to put the job very close to them about 3 tiles to have a short commute? Also on the line graph of the commute time in the Mayors panel, it shows that it's about 20 minutes also, which is hard to believe because they just work down the street.
  15. This is true (especially the "Ignore" part), although in small towns, with the Maxis traffic simulator (which you are apparently using), you can get a fairly accurate number by dividing the displayed number by 25 (since Maxis multiplied the number by 25 to get the display). So in your case, the commute time is actually 48 seconds, which sounds correct, considering that Sims don't stop at intersections, or anywhere else for that matter. If you want to get rid of the "Abandoned due to commute time" that happens with the Maxis traffic simulator and gets progressively worse as your city increases in size, you need to install the NAM traffic simulator, which is part of the NAM download. In reality where I use to work, my job was about nine houses down the street and that's a very short commute, just for pedestrian walking..., which would be about nine houses/tiles on SimCity 4, and on there the Sims drive to work, and says the commute is long for them.
  16. New Sim City Highway Sign+PSD File

That is so cool, you guys make these things so good.
  17. American, it's a San Diego, California type, I like having hills, and the ocean.
  18. Wow, I saw the date on Flatburg, 1/24/374, that's a long time, I was always wondering what happens when the date reaches 12/31/99... I thought it went 1/1/00.
  19. I was just wondering what if your computer had a virus, or it doesn't work properly any more and you spent a lot of work on your city with effort and time with all the NAM and other downloads? I see a lot of regions and cities on what people built, but what if your computer doesn't work properly any more, would you have to start all over?
  20. I wanted my city to be a clean environment and I was looking at the cost differences of power. I chose the wind power which is $500 per wind power, and $50 a month for 200 MWh/Monthly. The Natural Gas Power Plant is $9,000 for the building cost and 3,000 MWh/ monthly, but it has moderate pollution. My plan was I wanted the wind power because there would be no pollution but it costs a lot more than the Gas Power Plant. It would take 15 wind power's for 3,000 MWh/Monthly for $750 a month while the Natural Gas Plant is $400 for 3,000 MWh/Monthly. I was wondering why the wind power is $350 more of a total of 3,000 MWh/Monthly charges? On the Solar Plant which is the most cleanest which is $1,000 a month for 5,000 MWh/Monthly and on the Gas Plant it would be just about $800 for 6,000 MWh/monthly. The other question is on the water, which the water tower is 2,400 cu m/Monthly and the water pump is 20,000 cu m/Monthly. It would take 9 water towers just a little over 20,000 cu m/Monthly at a cost of about $400 a month while the Water Pump is $350 a month for 20, 000 cu m/Monthly. I was also wondering why the Water Tower is just a little more than the Water Pump of about $100 more for 20,000 cu m/Monthly charges? From both utilities there is a larger expenses between the Wind Power and the Gas Plant, other than the Water Tower and Water Pump, I was just wondering why. Should I build the The Natural Gas Plant, other than the Wind Power? Should I build the Water Pump, other than the Water Tower?
  21. I know on Christmas the game itself without any mods has snow on the mountains if anyone has noticed that, but does it have any other features on the game itself without any mods that shows?
  22. I think the transportation in the game itself is fine. I haven't used the NAM or any others in the game.
  23. I did press CTRL+x snow and nothing came up.
