  1. Connecting region`s and roads

It's only for cities in a region to have road connections. I believe that when you open a new region it's just starts a fresh new region with no other regions around it. You can however pretend that the other region is next to it. That's what I have been to my regional area. I'm in the U.S. and I was making a California state region, which I opened several regions, but even though I can't connect, I just had to pretend that they were next to each other.
  2. Two questions on one topic.

The Sims can travel to an Industry city by avenues/roads neighbor connection region even though residential is in another city?
  3. How do I show screenshots on here if I need to ask a question. How do I take a screenshot from the game and put it on here.
  4. I was almost confused on your second photo, I thought it look like a route query tool of pedestrians and cars going to that tall building., but I looked again, but it was meant for avenue. I know this may be an answer off topic, but I didn't knew that pedestrians and cars and travel between cities, cool though, I didn't use the query tool that much.
  5. Two questions on one topic.

Thanks for the information. It's just in reality where I live, I worked in a different city, but I went to school within the city limits. But for colleges they were outside the city boundaries, but I could attend to the college even though I didn't lived in that city. Also in my area a lot of the industrial buildings are away from residential and commercial.
  6. Two questions on one topic.

In the second question, can Sims travel to a neighboring city for college or is the college for just one city?
  7. I'm afraid up till that moment when everything starts to slow down.
  8. I'm in medium mode play and the business's are not high in demand. How can I get a higher demand to bring in more business's because a lot of Sims are moving out of No Job. Is it a slower growth on medium mode? The second question is can I have a residential only in one city, and a commercial, industrial in another, separate cities? Will the Sims have jobs crossing the city lines? What about the college and universities in another city, can Sims go from one city to another for those.
  9. It's been good, there's a lot of people who came up with good mods and NAM's.
  10. SimCity 2013 Offline Mode

I hope the future of games, even city building, is not all going towards internet games only. SimCity 4 isn't an internet connection game, it plays on disc, onto the computer.
  11. On the RCI, I see where it shows the colored blocks goes up and down the line a lot. I know I played this for so long, just having a thought as of now I needed to ask.
  12. On the SimCity 4, there are two query arrow tools, one that shows where the cars and pedestrian transfer to and from work, and the other query shows how many jobs are available in the building. I noticed when I used the query tool to find out information about the Industrial building, I go over a building and it says (Freight and Workers none), but I clicked on the other query arrow tool, and it says (8/10 jobs) on the same building? Also on the other information I used the query tool that gets information over an industry building it says Workers Car:124, but I used the other query tool and it says 7/13 Jobs. What's the 124 cars out of 7/13 jobs? Can someone answer the two questions if you understand what I mean, this only happens on the Industrial buildings not on residential or commercial.
  13. I have so many open unnamed cites in a region, just a thought what you can name a city?
  14. This is true (especially the "Ignore" part), although in small towns, with the Maxis traffic simulator (which you are apparently using), you can get a fairly accurate number by dividing the displayed number by 25 (since Maxis multiplied the number by 25 to get the display). So in your case, the commute time is actually 48 seconds, which sounds correct, considering that Sims don't stop at intersections, or anywhere else for that matter. If you want to get rid of the "Abandoned due to commute time" that happens with the Maxis traffic simulator and gets progressively worse as your city increases in size, you need to install the NAM traffic simulator, which is part of the NAM download. In reality where I use to work, my job was about nine houses down the street and that's a very short commute, just for pedestrian walking..., which would be about nine houses/tiles on SimCity 4, and on there the Sims drive to work, and says the commute is long for them.
