UK-Bournemouth Housing Pack. Another collection from the Mntoes Uk Housing Pack. Project inspired by Dannibee after he posted a request on my Simtropolis UK Housing Project thread.. Longer than expected in the making but I hope the wait has been worth it. The pack contains three lots. Each lot contains two houses from either Havestock road or Huntfield Road in Bournemouth. R$$2 3x3 40 residents No dependencies If you want to use the SimCity 4 Extra Cheats Plugin to plop the lots then you will need to look for the folowing lots so that you can plop them all in a row if you wish. R$$2_3x3 Mntoes-DB-Lot 1 R$$2_3X3 Mntoes-DB-Lot 2 R$$2_2x3 Mntoes-DB-Lot 3 Pictures of three of the houses modeled are included as reference (I can't remember where I put the pictures of the other thtree) Also included are all the props needed (I'm not a lover of dependencies.) Most of the time taken has been in perfecting these props. Sorry all for the delay in uploading. Please note The car featured on lot 3 is not my work but is downloaded from Turbosquid. Thanks go to user Cholasimmons for his excellent work on this model, Cheers! For more info on my UK housing project follow the link below. https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=37&threadid=99573&enterthread=y For installation simply place the enclosed dat file in the usual plugin folder. Hope you enjoy Mntoes. -
New SimCity in game videos

^^^ Thank you. -
^^^^ Dear God the tiles are so small! No wonder people are upset. On the plus side the pictures are looking better. Think I'll hold off buying this 'till the tiles are bigger.

At the end of the day you have made the right choice for you and that's what counts. Good luck with the writing. -
Wow nice looking bridge. Not one normally to look at CJ's but I like what I see. Nice work.

Strange indeed. Please don't get opinion that I'm looking to you for a solution to this. I agree I think there is more than one cause of this. -

It seems to be caused by the computer they are on. I have a computer with an Nvidea GTS 250 graphics card that displays this problem. My old laptop with a Readeon IGP 345M graphic card shows exactly ths same models without any problems. -

Sorry to ask a bit late but i'm a bit confused now. The picture you have shown without the rendering problems has no oppacity maps- correct? ( hence it looks good in-game). Does this mean that you intend to no longer use opacity maps or have you found anything to lessen the effect of this problem? Good detective work Btw. Regards Mntoes -

A step nearer to an answer. Guess I'm going to have to upgrade to "Perfection" again. -

I think version 2 is just great ! . As for the problem I think that we will have to live with it. I never did get to finding a definative answer. At one time I came to the conclusion that it was a combination of textures and not just one individual texture on it's own. If I'm honest though I gave up with the experimenting due to frustration. It was strange though how on my model the removal of a single window frame resolved the problem without a change of any textures? Keep trying, but it doesn't spoil what are some fantastic Bats. If you ever do get nearer to an answer let me know. Regards Mntoes Edit. too radical a change?..... Not at all. Although i'm not buying one of those Orange cars... -

That's about it. I suffered from this for a long time and it stopped me batting for ages. I now bat a little, but I view my models and take screen shots on an old computer with a different graphics card and they look ok. (not sure if it was just Nvidea cards with the problem though) The discussion T Wrecks mentioned was in this thread. It starts at the verry bottom of page 15. Madhatter's thread. Hope that helps :-) Edit.I'm sorry but due to this fault I'm now going to have to downgrade my inital comment from "Perfection" to "near perfection"...Lol -

If you are worried about taking pictures could you look at it on Google street view? I use it all the time.

WC_EEND Its a script file. Check-out page one for the complete insatallation instructions. But here is the bit about how to run the script file:- 4. In the menu select MaxScript -> Run Script and navigate to the location you have unzipped downloaded archive (see #2) and select BAT4Max5_Installer.mzp and follow on-screen instructions. (you may find yoy need to run it as an administrator) Regards Mntoes

I have to agree with T Wrecks. I only hope the final version does not look like this. If so I would honestly prefer Cities XL. Still it's work in progress so we will have to wait and see if this thing gets to looks less like a cartoon.

BAT - Troubleshooting & General Discussion
mntoes replied to Jasoncw's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Or select /tools Bat/parameters and pick "Re-fit Lod's" . Select yes to delete the old lods and the new ones should now be smaller. On a side note are you modelling at the correct zoom level? If you look at the bottom right near "Animate" does it say "grid =1 or Grid=16". If not I suspect you are not zoomed-in enough for SC4 scale. -
What is it with the opening of old threads latley. Yale 70 the last entry in this thread was June 2007. Do you really think this is still being worked on?

Hope this means things are getting better for you. We've all been there at least once, when things look bad, I know I have. The main thing is that you sought some advice. good luck Mntoes. -
It's a real shame. This guy really had the eye for a good bat. When I saw this post I almost thought he was batting again. Why oh why do people open old threads? Can't it be locked?

Good luck with the new website. Just so you know the "home" button top left is not working. you get this Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/scempire/public_html/admin/sources/base/core.php on line 2698
