  1. Hi all, I really don't like the idea of separating completely commercial and residential area from each other because it seems very unrealistic, but do otherwise and you'll have residences smothered by noise pollution from their nearby shops. Is there anyway to neutralize or reduce the noise pollution? Thank you
  2. Oh hi everyone thank you for all your replies and sorry for the late response I just returned from mom's hometown where it's hard to get strong and stable wifi connection (third world countries story ) We went there to visit my grandma and relatives for lunar new year. We had a great time but I'm glad that we finally returned to civilisation Anyway, thank you again for all your tips and suggestions. I'd never thought that roundabouts, rails and interchanges could be that helpful. For someone who only trusted the checkerboarded road network with extensive bus stops and subway stations, this is a real eye-opener. This time I'll definitely try those 3 out, as well as the Network Extension Project and the 2 policies that you recommended One more question, though: what do you usually do with the huge empty space between residential area and industrial area that we usually leave to keep residences from the pollution? And the area around the industrial district, do you build anything right next to it or leave a huge space as well?
  3. I see Only the bare necessity then. Would you mind if I ask you for some example pictures? :DDDDD
  4. Hello I always run into dept because roads in CS are much more expensive than in SC4, which I find really annoying. However I'm totally not into cheats or unlimited funds. Could you suggest me some road layouts that are affordable but yet effective? Thank you!
  5. What do you build at the edge of your city?

Wow I'd never known that the people here are so friendly Thanks for all your comments! I think I'll fill in the empty space at the edge with some low density residential. One more question: how do you make a smooth transition from apartment buildings to small single suburb houses?
  6. Hi everyone, This has been bothering me for awhile since I usually zone industrial area at the edge, which means that to ensure the zone continuity in the adjacent city I'll have to zone industrial zone at the edge too or else it would look very unrealistic (yes I know it sounds a bit OCD) So what do you usually zone at the border of your city? Thanks for your answers!
