Center turn lanes for the Euro road texture mod - maybe even include the euro texture mod in the nam as a texture option?

Well, it has happened. My HD crashed and took SC4 with it. After re-installing I have run into the following problem: All previews for my large regions are missing a sliver about 1/8th the width of the region. This problem occurs only after installing the Update from the ea site - previews display fine after upgrading to Rush Hour. This is without any plugins installed, so it is a problem with the ea file. Has anyone else run into this, and does anyone know of a solution to this?

Ok - fixed (by making the game run at custom resolution, using this method: Edit the command line as follows: "C:\Games\simcity 4\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -CustomResolution:enabled -r1440x900x32 -f -introff Adding your resolution as needed, and be sure to turn the intro off.) this also fixed the problem of terraforming.

same thing happens to me - but it also happens when not terraforming - simply saving a city after playing it at high resolution will do the same thing :-/

Nope - same thing still happens, even when simply saving a city and exiting to the region view... not fixed. I have e-mailed EA Tech support, maybe they know something.

This is awsome - I can't wait for it. Been wanting to use HSR since this project started (E-HSR), but I refuse to get rid of my monorail - This will be perfect.

I am extremely disappointed by this so-called "back to its roots" game. "Back to the stoneage" is more like it. I don't care for 3D graphics, mainly because most people (myself included) don't have the computer power o run 3D right. SC4 is bad enough on PC resources, 3D would kill my PC (It takes close to 20min to load SC4 as is due to all the installed mods and user content). I was hoping we would get another 4 view direction (N,S,E,W + NE,SE,SW,NW), and maybe a way to "tilt" to a top-down view, which would be handy for changing things in between all the tall buildings. Bringing back realistic surface water, so that it flows along the contours of the land, not just at a set hight would have been nice too. Other than that I was really hoping for a wider variety in roads, streets, highways, intersection types and more public transit options (Subway, Streetcars, Elevated, Buses+route planning, Metro, Train, High-speed train, Monorail, etc...). What we are getting is something that is none of these things. 3D graphics - whoop-de-#%^%ing-do! What happened to realism? What happened to buildings growing and developing? variety? depth? Here is another product that seems to be relying on the name... I will not be buying it.
