Great job! One of the more distinct buildings in south Detroit (aka Windsor). There were 2 starts to the Ren Cen. 1 by budweiserdue which was halted due to technical difficulties many years ago, and some one from the Hong Kong BAT team that I believe is still being slowly worked upon. Down with Kwame!!!!!

Jason, pictures are done and uploaded. Great work on the Penobscot again. Funny timing because I was just going to comment that if they can build in legos, you should be able to do it in gmax!!!!

Keep up the good work guys. I'm sorry I can be more help, although I am still available for historic info and taking picture requests for the summer (it's summer so I downtown often giving tours) If you're going to do a parking garage, nothing is more Detroit than the Michigan Theater..... parking garage. For those not familiar, it's not a parking garage for the theater, it's a theater turned into a parking garage! Reference the movie 8 mile. Not only is it famous for it being a former theater, the theater was built on the site where Henry Ford's garage was that he built his first quadricycle (aka car).

Jason, I noticed the Detroit club in your layout. Did I miss something, or is that simgoober's? As always, keep up the good work everybody!

Jason, I just uploaded a pic to my flickr that may help. It's from a distance, but I uploaded the full res so you can zoom. It's the best I have for you.

The cheese grater!!!!!!!!! I don't really like the building in real life, but it wil be a nice addition to sc4. Thanks again for all your hard work in bringing Detroit to SC4.

Holy crap nofunk, this is amazing! You've developed some skills. I like your choice of buildings too, not ones that people would typically think of. Keep up the great work.

If I could just add my 2 cents for future Detroit BATs, I'd suggest the Detroit Athletic Club and Detroit Police HQ. I think the game needs a good a police HQ, and the DAC could boost health. No matter what you do, though, I'll be happy! Thanks for your hard work.

Keep up the great work Jason! Here's some pictures of the building to give an idea of what the night lighting will look like. The normal night time lighting The lighting for the 4th of July (this was also used during the super bowl). From what I can remember, you won't be able to do the different color lights. You'll also recognize the building on the right of this picture, which is another fine model that Jason is doing!

The Portland & Oregon BAT Team, Chapter 1
baldy replied to sparkythepenguin's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Recently took a vacation out west and stopped by in Portland 2 nights / 1 day. I must say that thanks to all this fine work, I knew a lot of buildings in the city and I almost felt like I'd been there before! Anyway, great city, and great job with these BATs! Keep up the good work. -
looking great! I don't know how true to life you are looking to make it, but the left side of the building contains the elevator shafts, so there's a large portion of that wall where there are no windows. The floor plans will show you where they are and when they go from 6 to 2 (I think around the first set backs) Keep up the good work!
