Very fun game, can't say I've bothered to mess with mods....I play it on the PC and flying aircraft seems to be the bane of my existence right now...

That would infact be the new city simulator "City Life," not screenshots for a possible Simcity 5. Plus a thread like this belongs in the Future Simcity discussion thread (I haven't been in the forums much since the website change, so if it isn't there anymore, you guys can correct me!)

Which city building style do you guys prefer? The Grid system like New York City or a more freeform style with bending roads and what not(sorry for the vagueness but I couldn't think of a n example of a freeform city, if anyone does then post it!) Personally I prefer the grid system, although I tend to have difficutly placing bus stations and sub stations because they take up room, and yes I know about the bus/sub stop over the road puzzle piece.

I used to have this problem too. But to correct this problem I replaced the heavily used avenues with highways and yes I did have to demolish a large amount of structures. But when I got to a neighbor connection, I didn't bring the service or access roads thru was well. I did this because I discovered when I did that the service roads were getting twice to three times as much traffic as the highway were. I demolished the service road connections and that solved the limited highway usage. Hope this helps you out!

I've used NJ Tranist's North Jersey Coast Line many at time to go between my sister's home and New York City. Its a great line that runs on time and has many interesting views of the shore and city. On another note, The Dallas/Fort Worth area has the TRE or Trinity Railway Express which is only in its 5th year of operation but is extremely popular. There are many expansion plans for it that will be completed sometime in the next few years (can't wait). Seeing how popular it is, I'm surprised that it took the city and state leaders to realize it. Here's a picture of a couple of RDCs (Rail-Diesel Cars) The TRE is one of the last railroads in the World that operate that particular class of Diesel passenger car. (for you railfans out there ) Please keep to the 800x600 pixels max imagesize, resized..thanks. BTW, the building behind the train is the American Airlines Center where my beloved Dallas Stars play !!!

At least you know that you've lost a good player...Modano has refused the Stars 5 year contract....and he won't say whether or not he's going or staying....Boston and Chicago are the most interested in him. I hope the Stars can keep him... Wayne Gretzky! He is/was the ultimate hockey player...scored well over 2800 points career and over 850 career goals. He has raised the bar so high that it will be interesting to see what Sidney Crosby can accomplish to try to break them. sovietpower91...Vladislav Tretiak is an interesting choice and he is/was good in his era. His former students are good goalies (Ed Belfour, Evengi Nabokov etc)
