Give your SimStudents a break! Provide them a college with realistic parking needs with places to sit and relax after a long day of lecture and exams. Comes complete with multi-level parking garage, bristo tables, and cafe integrated into the exisiting college. Updated in this version is roof-level parked cars, refreshment stand upgraded to gourmet foods, and repositioned the crowd. No changes to the original college were made. -
I'd like to see a mod that forces plopables to go through the build animation and during construction have it's abilities suspended until completion. To make this mod possible, it may just be a matter of figuring out why the airport goes through the construction queue and applying that knowledge to the other plopables.

Hirachis Realistic School Mod.
Dolittle replied to Hirachi_Dinavo's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
I don't know if you know yet how to do this, but can you separate the features of your mod like they do for the path finding fix mod? For example, 1. School coverage increase mod. 2. School capacity increase mod. 3. School bus funding lowering mod. So people can control the changes according to their preference. For me, I'd like to see the coverage increase in my cities, but funding and capacities are fine for me. Btw thanx for your work on this mod -
The traffic is reversed because that is the British version of the game. Anyways here's my contribution.

Windows Mode For SimCity (RH or non-RH)
Dolittle replied to clindhartsen's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Found in the link. To use these switch you will need to edit you SC4 shortcut: R-click on the shortcut to SC4 and choose properties. The command line (or target line) will be the first text box in the window and it will be highlighted you can use the examples I have here to get you started. The switch to run in a window is: (note if you paly in a window you must use r-click and hold to scroll around auto-scroll is turned off in window mode) -w but you should run it along with a windows size command such as these: To run SC4 in a 800x600 32bit color window use this line: C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe -w -r800x600x32 or for 16bit color use this line: C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe -w -r800x600x16 if your desktop screen is set higher then 1024x768 the you can try using C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe -w -r1024x768x32 or C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe -w -r1024x768x16 If you are stuck in a window and would like to play full screen again use this command line in your short cut: C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe -f To stop the intro form playing so that the game will just stat use this command switch: -intro:off This is how it should look and it may help in some the game will not start issues! C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe -intro:off you can use these command switch together except f and w a few examples are: forcing of full screen mode of 800x600x16 with out the intro: C:\Program Files\Maxis\Sim City 4\apps\SimCity4.exe f -r800x600x16 -intro:off forcing of windows mode 1024x768 with out the intro: ok to recap the switches I know of are: -w sets the game to window mode best used with the resolution switches. And you must use r-click and hold(hold the right mouse button down) to scroll around -f sets the game to full screen mode. -r800x600x16 sets the game to forced 800x600 resolution w/ 32 bit color -r800x600x16 sets the game to forced 800x600 resolution w/ 16 bit color -r1024x768x32 sets the game to forced 1024x768 resolution w/ 32 bit color -r1024x768x16 sets the game to forced 1024x768 resolution w/ 16 bit color -intro:off turns off the intro to the game and many help in some start issues -
