  1. Lithium County

First and foremost Welcome to Page Three! Here's another update (so quick ain't I...) and I'll cover Uranium Waterway (or Waterway for short) and Uranium Locks, plus as an added bonus, an update of Lithium City, which as of tonight has surpassed Argonia as the number one city in population. But first Uranium Locks. Uranium Locks is due south of Uranium Waterway and north of Iridium Port. Most residents work in Iridium Port as it is all industrial there. The Locks were possible with the advent of the canal lock system developed by Silentbreaker (special thanks for creating it) and of course Oppie's canals. The Lithium Canal travels up north to the Waterway and then branches off to the east. So here is Uranium Waterway. It is primarly residential. Notice all the rowhouses in Waterway. A closeup of the canal. Now an overview of Northwest Lithium County. The map showing Lithium City in the corner was created before Lithium City was worked on. Now to Lithium City, the seat of Lithium County, and now the largest city in Lithium County, with 283,743 residents, 130,166 commercial jobs, and 10,811 industrial jobs. The overall population of Lithium County now stands at 1,412,977. Notice all the commercial buildings to sprout up as I waited for 16 years, that's how long it took to get to this stage, at it's not even close to finished. Urban sprawl reached out to the north, bordering the area around Bohr Hill but never penetrating the hill itself. Recently the city council is Lithium City voted to make Bohr Hill a Forest Preserve. Only the interstate highway runs over the hill. The airport also had to upgrade itself and I'm not currently planning to expand it with custom pieces as that might drain the city's funds like Bromine Bay's were. Here's LC as we zoom in. How complicated it all becomes. And that's another update from Riff (aka Steve). Page 3 bring it on...

  8. Lithium County

This update will show the new cities of Urania, Oxydelphia, and Rutherford. First Urania. Originally Urania was located at the source of an uranium mine but an explosion in the mine forced the city to move to neighboring Lithium County. Urania is now currently situated on the northern border of Lithium County. From there the founders of the 'new' Urania could plan as they pleased, and they chose a ring layout for the city. Commercial development would be concentrated in the middle with residential on the outer ring. But they took it a step farther by putting a big park in the middle. Aptly named Urania Park, it brings the countryside back into the city. Here's a closeup of Urania Park just before growth. Backing out a bit, with some development. Now the city as it is today. Let the picture do all the talking. Finally, a closeup on the recently constructed Urania Intl. Airport (using Joerg's wonderful airport pack). Now on to Oxydelphia and Rutherford, twin cities on the southern border of Lithium County. Oxydelphia is like any other town; it's got its Walmart too. The Walmart (which is my lot edit to Baco's original) sits in the main shoping district along with a Target, Home Depot, Blockbuster, and Kinko's. Most of the residents of the southern half of Oxydelphia work at the Walmart. And finally Rutherford, named for the scientist who modeled the atom. Rutherford is the last city on the Radon River, which you may know stretches all the all way up to Cobalt Ridge and into Platinum Peak. Once again, I'll let the picture do the talking. Various little communities have sprouted up on the east bank of the Radon and an interstate highway connects them to the downtown section of Rutherford. And that's it for this update of Lithium County. LC currently stands at a total population of 1.21 million people. Stay tuned for more updates.

Man, where does one get the time? Even I do not have this much time or hard drive space for that matter to create something this massive and complex. If you do make cities here, will there be a outlying theme to them or will it be just random brain farts of ideas?
