Ah, so 8.1 is the cause. Well that sucks...I'll just have to take away my terrain mod along with anything else.

That's very strange. The only explanation I can think of for that behavior is a bad plugin. I'd suggest going on that hypothesis and trying to trace it down. Move everything out of your Plugins folder except the NAM, then start building a new city. (If you still have problems there, uninstall and reinstall the NAM. If you still have problems after that, reinstall your game.) Then use the method outlined by our antlered friend in gradually add your plugins back in, until the problem reappears. When it does, you can quickly find the guilty plugin. After a test or two, I found my problem being I needed to run on software instead of hardware. The mods, textures, and other buildings and props weren't the cause. However, I do need to run on hardware mod due to a certain mod. So any suggestions?

Actually this happens anywhere in the city or other cities for that matter. Just happen to take this oic there. I've dealt with it, but I'm just tired of not being able to see where my sims are going.

I've been dealing with this glitch for a while. I don't know what has caused it but it is quite annoying and just all around messy looking.

I was thinking that they would make an expansion pack....any guess on what they will add-on if they do make one?

After the release of SimCity, will we see expansion packs later on or will they go straight a SimCity 6 or whatever?

I don't think it will fail...but if it does. We are back to square one. I hope it does not fail, with success in this game it will lead to better games in the future. How hard are the mods to install? I've played SimCity 4 since the beginning. I am hoping SC 2013 is good. From looking at some videos on Youtube...I think I will enjoy it. Once I get my new computer I will install both SC4 and Cities 2012

As I am getting a new computer soon. I was wondering on what to buy and have seen some videos, but is it worth it? My question is: Is the modding good? Bug problems? (besides memory leak) Good gameplay? and anything else you can come up with.... Thanks guys!

Hey I'm 18 and the U.S. coming here to make Simcity 4 for me better and modding it up...just started downloading stuff. need more mods and stuff but getting around to finding it
