With greener you mean you want your city a bit more eco friendly?if so try encouraging your sims to avoid the use of cars for buses,glr,subway,el rail and so on...there are also some ordinances wich enhance the use of public transports...as for the industrial area you may get your sims studying in order to increase the demand for HT industries...try also increasing a bit taxes for industrial dirty...this may lead to a decrease for that tipe of industry demand hope this helps Gugu3

How can I increase the building area?

What do you mean with maximum size of the square exactly? If you want to zone a bigger area for big residentials,commercials ecc..try using CTRL..if used in combination with ALT you can either choose the direction the side of the street/road where the building will grow!!! -

Also here in Italy highways are generally 2/3 lanes in each direction...howewer sometimes they are a bit wider...for example you have 4 lanes per direction between Milano and Bergamo due to the fact that there are lots of commuters...but it's very rare to find massive highways here in Europe...Then I agree with you about super massive highway interchanges in the game -

I really like rail networks in my cities!!!Also GLR is a good type of transportation...but the city needs to be quite big to have a GLR network in my opinion.... -
