  1. NAM General Support

Do you still have the old RHW Euro Textures installed? That might mess up the ramp. I seem to have NAM Euro Cosmetic Re-Texture Mod v1.0 and NWM_v2_Euro_Textures_Mod I don't have Euro Texture replacement Mod for the RHW Mod v5.0 which I have just come across on STEX I want the euro textures of course... what should I do?
  2. NAM General Support

It's been a while since I last played SC4 and of course had a couple of updates to do... After I put on the latest NAM I took a look at one or two interchanges I had created last time I played. This image shows the problems I noticed. I use LHD and all vehicles still drive on the left, which is good. The first problem is that the cosmetic arrows are facing the wrong way??? The second problems is the highway not lining up correctly, clearly seen at the top of the image. Can anyone help here??
  3. Show us Your Interchanges!

Ok, been busy since last post and have not been able to get on here to post a picture of my Four-level Stack Interchange. In my opinion, maybe not as attractive as McDuell's from previous page. I created this before those pictures were posted and will probably reduce depth of the tunnels as metioned in a previous post and adjust the center over passes to allow the use of addtional 'wide curves' for a smoother look. Let me know what you think?
  4. Show us Your Interchanges!

@ McDuell... It looks like you have managed to pass diagonal MIS under diagonal MIS in one of you pictures, even though you also talked about missing puzzle pieces... how did you do it?... Your interchanges are very nice btw... I like the use of wide curves andhow you make them look very 'smooth and curvey'
  5. Show us Your Interchanges!

Yep, already building it in that way... interestingly you actually don't need the tunnels at different heights!?!? of course for 'accuracy' I am building it with different height tunnels as otherwise it would seem that the tunnels are passing through each other...
  6. Show us Your Interchanges!

Working on building a Four-level Stack Interchange. Not going to be easy without double height elevated pieces It seems that the center section cannot be built using diagonal MIS over diagonal MIS or diagonal RHW4 over diagonal RHW4 due to a lack of diagonal over diagonal puzzle pieces... might post a photo to show problem at some point... Anyway with a little messing around and using some one-way road instead of highway will work... well, you can't pass single lane one-way road under elevated diagonal MIS or RHW4 it seems, so im going to build using double lane ramps. Anyone else wanna have a go at building this one?
  7. Show us Your Interchanges!

If you think thats nice, check this out! Same thing but bigger still (8 lanes through the center), special attention paid to using only wide curves while making it as symetrical and compact as possible. I made a tiny sacrifice for aesthetics by leaving a one tile space between the two RHW4 lanes running in each dirrection through the center, I didn't like the look of the different tunnel entrances adjacent to each other. If you like it, 'like' it.
  8. Show us Your Interchanges!

A Three-level Turbine Interchange. A little more difficult to build due to to the third level... However im going to build another one with a higher capacity. Same thing, different angle. What does everyone think? Ok, Heres a higher capacity design... And again from another angle... What does everyone think?
  9. Show us Your Interchanges!

Built another of the same (Two-level Turbine [system] Interchange) this time using wider curves on the inside and on the outer most exits/entrances... also, I think this is slightly more acurate to the diagram for design. Its a shame there are no wide curves for elevated highway, some more elevated exits/entrances would also be nice
  10. Show us Your Interchanges!

How about this? I have made the whole interchange more compact also...
  11. Show us Your Interchanges!

Thanks for the idea... the thing is, the left arm of the exit ramp must elevate at some point, I could do this by elevating it just before entry to the elevated highway... however me being me I like to keep things like this symetrical and if I did this on the adjacent corners I would run into the same problem... I will give it a go though, at the sacrifice of symetry, and see what it looks like... will post picture soon.
  12. Show us Your Interchanges!

I was going to build the interchange (Diverging Windmill [system] Interchange) as shown in the diagram Haljackey posted, however I decided to try something a little more complex... A Two-level Turbine (System) Interchange. Looks good but with this design I ran into this problem... So had to change the design slightly... I tried a few different things, you may notice that picture 1 (top-right) also shows a slightly more compact 'spiral' using curved transition ramps... (I prefer that this part of the design) Which picture do you think shows the best design for the highway exits? Picture 1: Picture 2: Picture 3:

A few examples of Service Interchanges using Avenue Roundabouts.
  14. Show us Your Interchanges!

A couple of examples of Roundabout (Service) Interchanges with elevated highway and free flowing avenues.
  15. Show us Your Interchanges!

A Double Crossover Merging Interchange with elevated highway. EDIT: Thankyou for the like... however I am going to redo this interchange as my intention was always to make a high capacity interchange using only 'wide angle curves' and as you may notice the sections of RHW4 that pass under the elevated RHW4 do not use the 'wide curves'... this means stretching the interchange out a little to get both curves to fit on either side...
  16. Show us Your Interchanges!

Got the idea from http://en.wikipedia....ing_Interchange... It says that "It is not known whether any such interchanges have been constructed." maybe you know of a real life example?
  17. Show us Your Interchanges!

A Double Crossover Merging Interchange. This is as compact as I could make it using 'wide curves'. Of course to save on the one tile at the ends of the 'wide curves' you must place them before the joining transitions etc. This would not fit on a small map. I actually think that not saving on the one tile each end of the 'wide curves' and stretching it out a bit might look even better. Im going to try to create an 'upside down' one next ie elevate the ground pieces and ground the elevated pieces.

I dont have roads on my bus station?
  19. Updated Bus Road Pack

The street stop is not showing in menu?
  20. DEX British Bus Stop Pack

Just what i've been looking for but seem to have a problem in that the avenue stop plops with 3 lanes in each dirrection and does not 'fit' the avenue... also my game CTD shortly after I plop one into my city??? please help.. ps I do only have one of the packs installed.
