Oh and BTW, I found a few BATs by ardecila for functional Chicago El's over the road!! This search: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1&Keyword=ardecila&view=all BATs: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=19178&v=1 https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=17338&v=1

I'm having trouble finding BATs/Lots for my Chicago. Did you create many of these, or did you find them? If so, where? For example, when I search STEX for 181 West Madison, I get nothing. But you have it. I'm jealous. =P

I need to take the time to learn how to create BATs. Your CJ is amazing, keep up the good work. (And if you happen to create an El Station over the road, functional or not, and want to share, please feel free to let me know.)

Not worthy of debate. http://www.notjustatheory.com/ Stephen J. Gould said it best: Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered. [stephen Jay Gould, Evolution as Fact and Theory Science and Creationism, (New York: Oxford University Press, 1984), p. 118.] That's all.

No, this is what Two Prudential Plaza looks like: http://www.skyscraperpicture.com/chicago26.jpg I am also building Chicago and am in need of this building. I've searched and cannot find it, so I don't think it's been built. It would be awesome if someone built it. I wouldn't mind trying it, but it looks like a tough one and I've not built anything as of yet. I need to start with something simple.

Originally posted by: Hanson784 Shane_, Welcome and thanks. Rebel3 has some great maps, looking forward to seeing some progress with your region. It’s hard to create the El as the NAM under road elevated network has a bug that prevents you (or at least me) from placing an intersection under the el, it causes my game to crash whenever I try. I might just BAT the El tracks myself and put a road texture underneath. It wouldn’t be functional but it would serve the visual purpose.quote> Rebel's maps are good, but the scale of the Chicago one is off. I've tried to dink around to fix it but have been unsuccessful. I have successfully placed a full grid of the loop of El's over the streets. It crashed a few times, only when introducing stations prior to placing an Intersection road/el. But it is complete with the exception of stations. I have placed one, but had to move the El off the road for the station, then back onto the road after the station. I wish there was a way to put a station over the road to avoid that. The detail in your City is amazing. It seems you have nearly every street in the downtown area perfect. Before I wasn't going to worry about such details, but now after looking at yours I'm going to. Great screen shots btw.

This is great!! I actually just got back from Chicago. I love what you've done. I'm working on a Chicago myself from a bitmap on Rebel's site. http://www.rebel13.com/SimCity/Home.html I've installed the latest NAM and I'm very interested in how I can go about putting in El Stations above streets as they are true to life in Chicago. It seems that you cannot have a road under an El Station, no matter what. Can anyone help me out with this??? Thanks
