Lovely little town!

@naftixe: Thank you for your advice. The city "Silky Ridge" is located in a hilly area, where I dont want flat grounds widespread, but letting the road to adjust to the grounds, rather than adjust the grounds to the road. Lined beaches and flat grounds will be perfect when building beaches and planning for city, but that is not the case for a small city IRL, right? =)

Silky Ridge is a little hill on the former Linkou (Wood Entrance) plateau. 絲線嶺，是原本林口台地上的一座小山。 After the sea level rise, this 150m hill has become plains. 在海平面上升後，這座150公尺高的小山變成了平原。 The Wugu Industrial area and the township of Nankan has escaped the flooding, 原本的五股工業區以及部份南崁市區逃過一劫， thus the area has become one of the most prosper city of the region. 因此這塊區域成為附近最繁華的地帶。 A traditional "little-bridge-flowing-water" Chinese garden park sits behind a large National Residence commune. 一座中國傳統的「小橋流水」亭園式公園座落在國宅後面。 Luckily, the Silky Sidge remains its beautiful scene of her betula birch covered ridgeline. 絲線嶺，是以油桐花和樺樹在夏天開滿了山頭，因而得名。 Silky Ridge, to be continued... 絲線嶺（待續）...

在過了觀音大橋之後， After corssing the Goddess bridge, 幾個路標映入眼簾， a few road signs appeared, 指向觀音山麓幾座不知名的小鎮。 leading the way to some remote towns. 首先進入的是三張犁。 Sanzhanli, "Three Plows", is the first amoing them. 三張犁是一個人口不足兩百人的小鎮， Three Plows has less than 200 population. 三張犁地小，只要用三張犁即可在一天耕完所有的田，因而得名。 The name Sanzhanli came from the size of the land, which is so small that three plows can finish farming the land. 您不妨沿三張犁的後巷行去， But if you follow the narrow lane behind, 在險峻的山壁後別有洞天。 there is another world behind the tunnel. 觀音山腳下有安靜的小鎮， Tranquil towns lies under the feet of the Goddess mountain, 閒賦的人們過著恬適的生活。 where people lived with a decent life. 或許也有富賈之家， There might be some richer people, 但無論貧富都過著富足的生活。 but the decent view is to be shared. 小城名叫觀音亭， The name of the town is called Guanyin Ting, "the Goddess Gazebo." 感謝觀音娘娘保祐大家。 to thank the Goddess blessed them a decent life. 觀音亭的對側尚有另外一座小鎮， There is another kind of life at the opposite side of the Goddess Gazebo, 那裡的漁夫們過著忙碌的生活。 where fishermen woke up early to work. 眾生都在巨乳觀音的庇蔭下， The Goddess overwatched her people, 在觀音灣幸福地生活著。 and enjoyed their happy life in the Goddess Lagoon.

這是大台北地區空照圖。 This, is the Greater Taipei Metropolitan Area, 2012. 這是溫室效應後，台灣淹沒的狀況。 This is the flooded Taipei, 2021. 由於溫室效應的關係，導致格陵蘭、南北極的冰層大量融解，因此全球海平面上升50公尺。 The Greenland and polar ice capes has melt significantly due to the greenhouse effect, thus the global sea level has risen 50 meters. 台北盆地再度成為台北湖， The Taipei Basin has returned herself into a lagoon again. 周邊的山區也成了群島。 And the surrounding mountains has become islands. The Taipei Islands. 台北島

@elliotwiley: Thank you. The terrace is common IRL in southern Taipei, and Tieguanyin (Iron Goddess) Tea is one of the famous product of Taipei. So I think it would be nice to introduce of flavor of Taipei here. FYI -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tieguanyin   The background of the story / region is in Taipei, I hope it can reflect some oriental culture and city design =)

Flood has come, flood has gone. People has yet to survive. 洪水來，洪水去， 眾生苦難求平安。 Of all the mountains surrounding the once Taipei basin, 台北周邊群山中， there lies the Guan-Yin mountain, or, now the Guan-Yin Island. 有方名曰觀音山。 Beneath the mountain, there is a lagoon, 山腳下有水一灣， After the devastating tsunami, survivors reached the shore of the Guan-Yin Island. 洪水來後成海濱。 Guan-Yin, the all loving goddess, accepted all refugees to escape to her feet, 觀音娘娘救苦難， 蔭庇難民納眾生， sheltered them with her own land, 眾生開田觀音下， Lest them grow crops again to feed. 阡陌青野綠連連。 Pineapple and lemon, fruited the terrace grounds, 鳳梨黃，檸檬青，梯田頂上蔬果鮮。 On the hilly slope, farms was found. 險山絕壁化作田， The poor and the rich, all safe and sound, Under the feet of the goddess, people gather around. 觀音娘娘山腳下， 貧富同心修家園。 Behind the loving goddess mountain, the terrain was yet to be soften. 山腳下，有險阻，空洞開路破長土。 Curvy roads leads to the cottage, where the Saint was hidden. 曲折狹窄上山路， 路邊隱士樂稻穀。 Statue and the temple of the Goddess is built, honoring the all loving Guan-yin, with the donation of the believers, 觀音娘娘像落成， 廟中香火真鼎盛。
