Can you change a region's name?
GreyStreak replied to bob27272's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
You could also make a new region with the name you want, delete all files in it, then move the other files in the other region folder into the new one. -

This is really nice! I wish I had the patience to build something with more than 500 polygons.

Tromel City.... A new beginning starts here.

*sigh* Oh well. [Doesn't it seem that those damn viruses always ruin the best part?] -

The repetition is sorta weird, but a good storyline makes up for it.

Wow. A] Your grammar and spelling are sad. B] SimCity is [keyword comming up] just a game, and SC4 came out five years ago C] Why do you associate SimCity with Spore? They are / will be speperate games anyway. Really. Count your chicks/amphibians/reptiles after they hatch.

Franklin County - 12th Anniversary Update, All-Nighttime Shots of New Riverside Downtown
GreyStreak replied to Patricius Maximus's topic in SC4 City Journals
Hooray for the life-giving [life-building, whatever] amino acids! Yay! Anyway... I like the way the trees aren't totaly covering the highlands, but I also like the fact that there are trees. But why does I-85 have really odd kinks in it? typically they would either go straight or bend like crazy, right? Nice Start! -
um... I have a city called Ulhunug with 654,045 people and 320,354 commercial jobs [all in a medium tile] and a very incomplete region with 3,896,410. [second largest is Sprogon, with around 390,000 people and 178,000 commercial jobs] Devon is nothing special.

I have another answer~ 1. Stop zoning in HUUUUUUUUUUUGE blocks. Instead, just lay out a couple at a time. 2. Add some parks! 3. Stop using the trains everywhere! Just one or two lines will do fine. [i never use any mass transit and still have cities with 600,000] 4. When demand for High Tech Industry [i-ht] gets higher than 2000 or so, increase the tax for Dirty industry [i-d] to 20%. This will tax it out of your city. Then demolish all of it and let it go. [Putting parks in your industrial districts helps too] Hope this helps and yeah........
