  5. NAM General Discussion Thread

Well at least people are finally starting to talk about the idea of a dirt road ANT! So is it , or is it not possible?
  6. NAM General Discussion Thread

Date:8/10/2004 8:20:28 PM Author:the Monkeys Uncle Why couldn't you just use roads for out in the country? Or do you mean so that they could have higher speed limits?quote> I want dirt roads/streets simply for visual reasons. As it stands now, if I use the dirt roads mod I get patches of dirt and patches of street according to wealth level. I want continuous stretches of dirt. I think the ANT is the answer. The problem with the ANT is that is doesn't allow road access for development. For this reason, it is virtually unusable. Add to that the fact that it looks identical to a regular road, and the ANT is utterly pointless. My proposal is to retexture the ANT to make it look like a dirt road, and then we can use it in rural areas where there isn't any develpment needing road access.
  7. NAM General Discussion Thread

Why hasn't anyone retextured the ANT as a dirt road so that it can be used for undeveloped rural areas? I see this as a way to actually have the ANT be of some use.

Date: 8/2/2004 1:30:06 AM Author: lakeyboy I was wondering if there is a way to make the ANT have dirt road textures by some other mod? quote> Yeah, I asked the same thing a page back... Anybody???
  9. NAM General Discussion Thread

Has anybody made any texture changes to the ANT, yet? I'd love to be able to use it as a dirt road. I know it doesn't provide road access, but I could still use it in the rural areas of my regions. ...And what's the status on the stack interchanges? BTW, this project is the best thing to happen to SC4 since RH!
  10. HAVOC Arty Pavillion Plaza

Beautiful! I rarely rate lots, but you get a 10.
  11. TMT Cross Of Jasus Park

I also like the basketball court. Looks good, but I already have an overloaded parks menu.
  12. Vera Block

Yes! We need more high-capacity C$ and C$$ buildings! You get a 10, just because my city desperately needs this type of thing...
  13. Niagara Sound Wall pack

Too high a monthly cost. I'd make it $1 per section...
  14. Demon Power Machine

I rather enjoy the evilness of your evil lots, Daeley.

  22. Chicago Boarding School

Very very nice! Keep these Chicago buildings coming. In the words of Tony the Tiger, "They'rrrrrrrrrre Great!"
  23. Moonrise Appartments

R$ buildings need not be beautiful. In fact, they ought to be ugly. Sorry, this just isn't realistic. If you really want to build a lot for huge amounts of R$, why not design some projects? Not a tall skyscraper, but a bunch of tenements all laid out on one lot. That would be cool!
  24. San Diego v1.0

Looks great! I think everyone has answered your questions regarding certain areas of the city with the exception of Serra Mesa. Luckily, I live there! It is mostly R$$ with some R$ (in terms of the appearance of the housing. The actual home costs would be R$$$ anywhere else in the country). If my home were in SC4, it would be R$$, yet it is worth $400,000+. San Diego real estate is ridiculous right now! And I'm glad to see you built Mission Center Road down from Serra Mesa to Friars Road. Are you gonna make it go under the 805 and connect to Murray Ridge Road? I hope so. That route is my secret backway to Mission Valley.
  25. Ski Resort Package

Brilliant idea! But it needs a different lodge. :-(
