If I choose a largest map to open, and then save and quit, that map will not be shown correctly. Specifically, the bottom half of the surface or water textures on the map missed. However, if any lot has been placed on the bottom part, it can be shown correctly. I don't know when this issue bagan to happen, but until now it still exists.

This is another map depicts a Janpanese style rural area. Some bridges are huilt across the river. This is a small wooden bridge for pedestrian traking from the town to the deep of the forest. This is a railway bridge over the valley. Another wooden bridge for vehicle. People drive from the mountain top down to the shrine. A long railway bridge in front of the shrine. From the shrine, visitors can see Mountain Fuji beyond the bridge. Another village loacted by the bank of the lake, with a train station on the upland.

This is a highway bridge links a port city to the international airport, which is built on a man-made island. The bridge reaches an isle first, and the motor ways change into undersea tunnel leading to the airport finally. passengers can also choose the cruise to other neighbor cities on the isle.

Show us your Energy infrastructure! (power plants, fuel extraction, fuel processing)
Skieriver replied to Lucario Boricua's topic in SC4 Showcase
This is an electric power corporation I made serval years ago, with many units of electricity production by different fuels such as coal, natural gas, oil, solar pwer, nuclear power and gargage power. It also includes facilities for transportation and staff welfare. The electricity produced here will be sent to other cities in my virtual worlds. The corporation is located by the coast, thus some ports are huilt for fuel trasporting. By the coast are the nuclear power units. The blue buildings are well-known as the nuclear meltdown at Fukushima. A heliport and administration buildings are on the east side of the nuclear power plants. Oil power units are on the west of nuclear power plants. A row of warehouses stores components for maintainance. In the center is a large freight railway station, as a supplement for transporting fuels. A big coal pile is near the power units by coal. On the northeast side, there are some gargage treatment facilities for producing power. Solar power plants can be seen on the upper ground. This pic shows the natural gas units besides the coal power plants. The ports for natural gas and coal. Public welfare facilities, with residential area, library, concert hall, stadiums, schools and hospital. Light rail system is mainly for commuting, while railway station connects with the outside world for staff. -
PC too powerful to run SC4?
Skieriver replied to Lowfat Milk from Walmart's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Hi, I followed your guide step by step. However, when the game is running, I find it still using Intel GPU with software rendering, which leads to so many yellow lines freezing on the screen when moving the picture. -
Thanks! That's really helpful.

Let's concentrate on the facilities of this airport. In the core area, some shops and restaurants are outside the terminals. Outside T2, fire station and police station are ready for the emergency. The shuttle bus terminal can send passengers to the downtown. This building which I called the supply center, Necessary components for airplanes are stored here. This two blocks are airport administration buildings outside T1. Relatives of officials can enter the airport by an underpass without security check. Two helipads are in T1. At the southeast corner, there are some fuel supply facilities

At the southern part of the island is the terminal 3. It's the smallest one, mainly for some short distance flights to domestic cities. The road to the west goes along the bank, and passes the end of runways, connecting with the highway behind some huge hangars. There is also a street as a shortcut leads to terminal 2. Passengers need to leave from the highway by the exit ramp, and cross the long bridge to terminal 3. There is a small building beside T3, which is called VIP hall, for some rich people taking their private jets. The road leads to the cargo terminal or the highway to the city center. The following graphs show the runways around the island. There are four main runways - two east-west facing, one north-south facing and one diagonal. This fifth runway is the most special one. As the real runway in Haneda airport, it is built on an additional artificial isle, connected by some taxiway bridges with the main island. This runway is mainly used for the cargo planes.

Let me introduce my NEO-INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The overview shows that my airport occupied the whole single map. This giant airport is inspired by Haneda airport, which is an international airport in Tokyo, Japan, built on the artificial island, with terminals centered, and multi-dimentional traffic network combined with bridges and tunnels. It makes up of three passenger terminals, one cargo terminal and five runways. As Haneda airport, it’s on a big artificial island, which is in the south of my city(not finished). The highway and metro system connect the airport with the main land from three directions - the north to the CBD, the east to the old port and the west to the Hi-tech industrial port. The passenger Terminal 1 and 2 are located in the center part of the island. The sunken highway goes through the middle of the terminals, and leads to the cargo center in the east. Terminal 3 is in the south part of the island, which is the smallest one. The upper one is terminal 1, mainly used for the domestic flights, while the lower but bigger one is terminal 2, which is used for both domestic and international flights. It can be seen clearly that the complex traffic system are designed in the central area. The sunken highway, which is from the west land, connects with the roads on the both sides, and the roads lead to the either terminal entrance. The metro transfers into GLR and ELR, and finally connects with two EL-railway stations. On the each side of the terminals, two huge eight-level garages are outside the buildings. The highway passes under two taxiways and direct to the cargo terminal. Driving through the flyover to north, passengers can arrive in the city center, by a long undersea tunnel and an oversea bridge. There are many warehouses besides the highway. The highway continues passing under the airport field to the east land, which is the old port of my city.

Skieriver commented on Leathershoes&corn's City Journal Entry in Leather Shoes' Cities
That's amazing! I'm building a huge airport too! I have been taking so much time on searching of some diagonal gates for my airport. However, I only found two until now. Could you please introduce some diagonal gates lot to me? Thanks~ -
